      @@JaWayne Hey Jacob, 32" is like the PERFECT size for gaming even for today's modern TV standards... The reason being, that it looks just about right and comfortable on the eyes (without goin' blind) if you're gonna be sittin' around 6ft or less away from the screen. This especially true if you're gonna be gaming at night. If you go to any electronics dealer (like Best Buy or Target) that specializes in TVs, and try to compare the 32-inchers with all those GIANT screens, you will prolly notice that the 32-inchers will most very likely always look the BEST from a just few feet away. HUGE-ASS, monster colossal-sized screens that are like 80" or bigger, are just gonna KILL your eyes and make ya feel HELLA TIRED after only a short gaming session. You'd hafta sit like in the NEXT room, with SUNGLASSES on, just in order to play comfortably with a screen that huge; regardless of the native resolution. Take it as a tip, from someone who KNOWS!!!

    I have a Toshiba 32" as well, but different model. I owned different model CRT TVs back in the days and I found and felt in love with the Toshiba brand. I had a 27" and it died after 10 years. I think I picked it up at Best Buy for $500 dollars. That TV actually had a PIP (Picture in Picture) feature. But I was fortunate to pick the 32" for free, someone just threw it out on the curve and put a paper on it that said, "Take Me". The remote for the 27" actually worked for the 32". It's the perfect TV for games all the way up to the PS3 with component input. Some PS3 games actually looked much better on this TV than on LCD TVs. The sound coming out from it is fantastic. The only bad thing about it is it's extremely heavy.

    • @JaWayne
      @JaWayne  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah those things are a beast and if you were by yourself you wouldn’t have been able to scoop the 32” from the curb. I recently found two 27” RCAs on the curb and they worked beautifully. I sold one for $125 and the other for $80. I think they were from a school. But yeah Toshibas are my favorite. I’m not getting rid of this 32” because it looks fantastic and I don’t want to ever move it again! Thanks for sharing your stories!

    Question, why do you own so many VCRs and why have them hooked up simultaneously? Asking as a VCR enjoyer. Beautiful CRT by the way

    • @JaWayne
      @JaWayne  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! I'm glad you noticed that - I was hoping someone would see them since I didn't highlight the VCRs.
      I've been buying VCRs when I go to estate sales and garage sales trying to find the ultimate VCR. I really like those Panasonics.
      I have them all grouped up and I actually tested those as well to make sure they're all fully operational - all of them are except one of the Sonys. I really want to make a separate video on testing the VCRs, especially if I get some more.
      I'll probably sell a lot of them as I find remotes for each one but I'll keep the better ones and have them on a couple CRT TVs at my house.
      They aren't actually all hooked up, I tied up the cords for each one and I untie them when testing them/using them.
      Another note: I'd love to try my hand at fixing them and understanding how they work on the inside but haven't gone down that rabbit hole yet!
      Thank you for watching!

      I'd love to try that out! My goal was to shoot my "tech" videos in 4K and my camera only goes up to 24/30 fps at 4K. I could always knock it down to 1080 and do 60 fps but I guess there are pros and cons to each option.

      Thank you, I love this one! It's definitely a keeper for many reasons including how heavy it is to move.

      I just bought some 90% or 99% (can't remember) Isopropyl Alcohol so I'll give it a shot!
