Hello, i'm from SCYTHE, we would like to know about your testing platform. Is the PWM connected to the motherboard or an external controller? In our tests, as well as those conducted by other media, we haven't observed such a significant difference in PWM at 100% and CFM compared to other products. We highly value the product in your possession and would like to assist you in troubleshooting.

Hi Yen-Chinshen (Scythe), Yes the PWM was connected to the motherboard and controlled via PWM software same as all other fans I have reviewed. Its actually all performance (PWM) levels in this particular test.
I'm not sure what there is to trouble shoot. The test is repeatable and this is the only test Scythe fans have trouble with. The only thing that could help is sponsorship to acquire a better testing apparatus and testing equipment. I'm well aware I am a small fish.
Thank you for reaching out to me. Have a great day.

@@computer-tech-more Based on experience, some motherboard sockets may not be fully compatible with every PWM control chip. If we could know the platform you tested on, we could replicate the experiment and verify if there are similar issues.

@@yen-chinshen5488 i dont want to sound rude. but ive tested over 80 fans all using the same header on the mobo. Same extension cable, same anemometer, same software, same test apparatus. Its not the pc, because its only scythe fans for this one test. it performs well or as expected in other tests. its why I legitimately want to overhaul all my testing, I even have a video on my channel describing my plans. But I cant get there without support.
but for sake of tell you. I have an intel 11700k on a Asus ROG Z590 mobo.
I really do thank you for reaching out to try to help trouble shoot.

For your charts, it would be helpful if you used different shapes for the fans. Like have some be squares, triangles, diamonds, etc. instead of just circles. Combining shapes and colors would make it easier to tell the fans apart.

oh thats a good thought. I really should have thought of that. Ill try to get that added in in the future. I have a bunch recorded already 😭 that wont have that changed. . .

Oh boy. Another one. Looks like fan manufacturers doesnt sleep at night very well because of Phanteks T30.

well depends. its better all rounded like case airflow and cooling but as just a pure cooling fan ya the T30 is still holding up.

What a detailed and helpful review! Definitely underrated.
I have recently been curious about the InWin Neptune DN series, what are your impressions of the ring blade fans?

hmm thats a tough one. because in theory a ring blade can be better than one without. but it depends how close to the outer hub they can get that ring. Personally I just prefer without the ring aesthetically performance very similar overall the other geometry is more important. .
