In case anybody's curious, there's no deep meanings behind these drawings, they were just for practice :) Though, feel free to make up your own stories on what's going on - I'd love to hear your theories!
Fluttershy: Her animals finally snapped and turned against her. One morning when she went to go and feed them their normal diets, the animals were acting weird but she thought nothing of it, as she turned away, her former bear and other animal friends attacked and mauled her until she died. Rarity: She was designing a dress using her unicorn magic when everything went wrong. Rarity was designing a dress for the gala coming up, everything was going smoothly until her power turned against her, she tried to fight back only to be gauged down the throat by her own scissors, as she tried to scream for help blood poured from out of her mouth and now half slit open throat, as she fell onto the ground with a thud things fell ontop of her piercing her eye, as she hit the ground her horn shattered, she died by her lungs being drowned in her own blood. PinkyPie:Pinkypie was making cupcakes one night when she felt her face tingle, she thought nothing of it until it started to get annoying, soon she'd go into the bathroom and wash her face with water over and over, it didnt help. As she blinked she felt something pulling,as it was painful she cried of pain, after a while she'd feel heavier and would look in the mirror again to notice an evil version of her reversed self, Pinkamena, after 30 minutes it had taken control and killed both of them in the end. AppleJack:After years of working on the farm, Applejack was tired, battered and bruised so she went to take a walk for a while, on her walk far out of town she stumbled and fell down a steep muddy cliffhangover. months later earth had reconnected with her broken body reclaiming its energy. Twilight: After being banished to the void by her former followers The void slowly takes her. After Twilight got banished into the void to die because the earth ponies and pegs think unicorns and alicorns are unfair, twilight fought to stay alive, but the longer she fought the more she felt tired, soon the void took her life after she collapsed from exhaustion. RainbowDash:After a failed sonic boom, Rainbow slowly fell to her death. During training, RainbowDash wanted to show off so after a while of stretching Rainbow took off into the sky, she'd gain speed quickly and attempt a sonic boom, only to fail and lose her two front legs and to expose her ripcage to where it looked like it was going to explode, after RainbowDash quickly started falling, her trainees would watch in horror as she fell below the clouds soon to hit the ground and her body to explode creating a massive crater in the ground followed by a series of natural disasters.
As you said these don’t have any deep meanings so I wanted to come up with some! Fluttershy was cursed with slowly becoming as stone. she was in a very fragile state and was roughly bumped into by a stallion who was in a rush, her body was brittle, her wings already collapsed. Rarity used too much magic in a fight. To the point it literally tore her apart. The tip of her horn shattering and her soft organs that resided in her skull combusted into a bloody mess. Pinkie Pie’s situation occurred because of a demented possessed version of Pinkamena Diane Pie attempted to escape her body but ended up killing the both of them as they didn’t split correctly. Apple Jack was frozen in place in the outskirts of the apple ranch, she wasn’t able to move, breathe, anything. she suffocated and slowly decayed. her hair, skeleton, and hat stayed in its original form and position. nature later grew through and around her remains Twilight was using her magic to keep a vortex that surrounded her from closing in. Rainbow dash gave up her life to protect the ones she loved, in return she became a god of the rainbow and the storm.
@@lierhunter5841 the reason I said stone was because of the heavy cracking across her body. Also a lot of animals would leave the bones behind. If you were to run into a statue made of like sand. Parts would remain intact but the rest would crumble. Also she doesn’t look torn apart. More like she was in the middle of falling while walking forward. Does that make sense?
Beautiful artwork, I admire it so much, it’s very inspirational and actually helps other get better, the shading you do has helped a bit, I love to watch the videos over and over cause of the design and work you put on it ❤
I kinda thought I'd make my own sorta takes on the meanings behind the pics even though they were only meant as training. Might as well take advantage of giving us the option to write our ideas, right? For Fluttershy I was thinking she was put under pressure and quite literally broke down as a result. Like, her body is just tearing itself down bit by bit. I was also gonna say she got mauled or agree with someone else that she got bumped into by a stallion and started crumbling like a statue, with her body staring to turn to stone and wither away but that doesn't really explain the blood to me. For Rarity her jaw kinda looks broken with how wide open it is? And with her cracked horn maybe she did something to break it and with it being so close to her brain, that caused her to go into shock and that's why she has such an expression on her face. I would definitely think magic of sorts but it also reminds me of Sweetie Belles death where she got electrocuted and her horn shattered. With Pinkie it made me think of bipolar disorder? Like how she's normally this one happy pony at one moment and at another moment when you tell her something serious or whatever, she just gets all sad and mopey with her hair getting all straight too. But with this version, its like an entirely different side of her is coming out and taking control and that scares her. Plus, the expression on the other head coming out just made me think of a dude in a white van pulling up to you and is leaning out the window about to ask you if you want some candy. As for AJ, it made me think she was left somewhere where these special flowers are a kind of parasite or fungus that saps ponys of their life and physical attributes, starting with the most nutrient rich stuff like the muscles and skin, only leaving her with her skeleton, hair, and hat which aren't as easy to digest or aren't as nutrient rich for the flowers. I can tell Twi was probably casting a powerful spell to try and slow down the effects of the same thing affecting AJ but its taking a real strain on her to try and hold it back as its slowly and more painfully consuming her. Rainbow sacrificed her front legs for bigger, stronger wings so she could become a "Sonic Rainboom" bc she was sick and tired of straining herself to make one? Come out as gay? Blind her opponents to death? She wanted to be a wyvern? She wanted to beat Sonic the hedgehog at being the fastest? Idek tbh, it could be anything really. . . xD But seriously tho, it kinda does look like she was quite literally turned to stone. Like, all of her at once like she looked Medusa right in the eyes turned to stone.
I was thinking that my explanation wasn’t the best, I was more thinking that Fluttershy was becoming “Like” stone, making her body brittle. kind of like an egg, brittle, it can crack and chip without anything coming out. so for example her wings, being so lightweight when Fluttershy attempted to fly they broke. As an example with elderly people, they are much more fragile than most younger people, so I Imagine moving was painful. Movement slowly wearing her down, making her more susceptible to damage, so when the stallion bumped her it weakened her in the already fragile state that she broke.

It's always a pleasure to watch you draw! Your linework and color theory are always on point! I have one slight suggestion, perhaps when the mane or tail is lying in blood or is bloody, drawing some of the hair wet or matted with blood might add an aspect of realism? I understand if it's a stylistic choice as it does retain that characteristic shape, just a suggestion! Either way, great work as always!

I like that others are writing some stories about this so i thought hey why not try my own twist on it. Discord had made a mistake and Celestia ordered his stonification, but with fluttershy refusing to comply celestia took the elements from the main six and began the stonification process, Fluttershy however would not let this happen, jumping forth she too the spell head on, but an element of harmony isn't mean to be used against its wielder, Nothing could have prepared anypony for the result that was fluttershys death. Everyone was horrified and celestia disapeared not long after running away. Celestia could not handle what she'd done and one day went to fluttershy's grave, hoping to find solace in the nature that surounded the headstone, Rarity was about to do the same, but seeing the one who ended one of her best friends had her ready for a fight and peeved with a princess. In a panic Celestia tried to dispell Rairities growing Fury magic... It wasn't meant to melt her brains. Pinkie pie, devastated and in a horrible place of grieve, Took Rarity to the mirrorpool, but the mirrorpool would not duplicate a dead pony, In an attempt to get her friend back, she tried to trick the mirrorpool, putting Rarity in first and quickly getting in after, She did end up tricking the mirrorpool, but with rarity inside as well, the splitting of Pinkie pie accured, and well, lets just say it isn't pretty. Applejack began overworking herself, trying to avoid her grieve, and as the days of winter went by her family stopped seeing her. When the snow began to melt, they found out the real reason why she never returned home. Twilight knew the elements of harmony were now dormant and protecting equestria would be hard to do with only loyalty and magic active, so she decided to combine 6 elements into 2, so that she and Rainbowdash could save the creatures of equestria. As she performed her spell infront of the Tree of harmony, its flowers began to bloom all over her, The spell worked to an extent, fusing an element or two, However the trees roots consumed her as a result, and the Two Trees remane dormant until new holders aproach. In an attempt to revive all her friends Rainbowdash stole scrolls and items of magic from their keepers, after many failed attempts she adorned severel of the magical artifacts and performed a sonic rainboom.. but instead of reviving her friends, she became The Vortex of Lost Souls
