Love the videos. What I like the most is how close you get them in to the spread and how simple your calling is. Shows you don’t have to blow and blow on that call to get shots in close just enough to get their attention. Thanks for the content
Man I’ve been loving your content! Would love to see some behind the scenes on what cameras you’re using and how you go about setting them up and managing them during a hunt.
What a Day, and what a stamina you have! First what a show of lights, what are the color lenses on your caméras?!?! What a Wonderful state you are living in, and what a Great mixed bag of ducks (divers!) and geese! What a good way to finish the year! Happy New Year to Come on the TH-cam Channel of yours! Thanks for sharing all these Moments with us!
Matt, love the videos! Just getting started in Duck hunting. Can you make a video with how you get everything into your boat from the truck to the blind and back again with all your gear?
Texas hunting has been so rough this season so your videos have been getting me through…lol. I gotta ask, what’s this set up process like? I can’t imagine efficiently loading all those decoys onto a kayak.
I think I’m gonna start pulling a jet sled behind my kayak as you are doing. What kind of distances do you paddle on the regular while towing a sled behind you? Curious what you consider too far for the effort of pulling a sled, particularly with the idea of possibly having to return going into a headwind. What kind of rope length do you keep between kayak and sled, and do you use a piece of pvc over the rope to keep the sled from bumping into the rear of the kayak?
I've gone up to a mile with it. I've had times I've had to walk the kayak and sled back because of the wind. I keep about two to three feet between them. No need for PVC. They rarely bump into each other, especially while paddling.
I have a Benelli ethos cordoba best 28 gauge and I shoot Boss number 5’s and I was trying to hop on the TSS train do you personally think it’s worth 50 dollars a box

Thanks! I should be able to do something like that
Nice little hunt and cool mixed bag Matt. Congrats, Barry
Thanks Barry!
That sunrise more than made up for the lack of birds flying. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely! Beautiful sunrise
Good hunt. That sunrise alone made the trip imo.
Oh yeah, one of the best sunrises of the season.
In California now, with Matt. Good day on Saturday; few birds and poor shooting today. Your goose was a crackler. Rick
Good luck Rick! Thanks for the info
Way to hang in there enjoying your beautiful day and some decent hunting time. Thanks for sharing from Florida.
Thanks, appreciate it!
man, you’re making the best waterfowl content on youtube.
Appreciate that!

He was a nice one
Goose season is over in Ontario 2 weeks of Dock left its the grind.
Thanks for the quality videos
Thanks, I hope you had a good season up there!

Thanks Myron! Happy New Year!
@@HighPrairieSportsmen 👍😊🙏
You dug in for the long haul! It’s always a bummer when the birds are few and far between.
Yep. Just a weird year
Awesome hunt!
Thanks!

Appreciate it! Sure I can do that
Nice bag!! That gadwall!!! Nice one, send them down to central Tx!!!
Thanks! I'll try to send them south
I enjoy duck hunting but all day in the same spot would be a challenge for sure. Good on you for sticking it out
It can be tough on the slow days when much isn't flying.
Love the videos brother! Stupid question but what is the tapping you do on your gun before you pull up to shoot?
Thanks! It activates the Shotkam
That's one thing I haven't done...hunt from sunrise to sunset.
Good way to spend a day
I’ve done it deer hunting many times. Can be a good way to catch a mature buck out when they’re daylighting at weird times.
Good you don’t want to do it unless you got to. It will have you hurting when you get home 😂
Texas hunting has been so rough this season so your videos have been getting me through…lol. I gotta ask, what’s this set up process like? I can’t imagine efficiently loading all those decoys onto a kayak.
It's not too bad. I just hitch a big sled to the back of the kayak for most decoys
Hey Matt would love to see you hunt that spot where you tripped on a log and filled your waders. That was awesome spot
I'm sure I'll hunt there again. It is a pretty cool spot
The second goose, after the Cackling Goose, looked like its neck was messed up as it was coming in. Like maybe it took a bb to the neck previously.
I noticed that as well. Not sure what was wrong with it
Awesome video man. Are you still shooting your sbe3?
Thanks! No, I sold it
nice gaddie🔥👊🏻
He was a beaut!

Nice mixed bag, you mentioned the small goose with blue eye, thinking it has avian flu. What would do with it, eat it, burn it or report it?
Thanks Cooper! I've reported and ate them in the past.
Is that a tactical cam
Shotkam
Is Kansas Duck hunting good in January?
It can be. Depends on the weather
@ we have a trip planned for the 18th and hoping to do well. It will be our first time there.
Very nice place
Don't shoot front of the slow goose
👍🏻
How bad is the bird flu
It's really bad in some areas. Only have seen a few birds with it this year where I hunt
they flaired because they were to close to you when you called they saw you because you gave away your position.
👍🏻
With the sun hitting you in the face, probably reflecting off your gun barrel sticking up.
Could've been.
At the position they flared, the sun was almost at their back, just right to a get a reflection off of a camera lens or anything shiny
Is 50 dollars for 10 shells actually worth it
That's for each individual to decide. The performance of TSS is second to none.
I have a Benelli ethos cordoba best 28 gauge and I shoot Boss number 5’s and I was trying to hop on the TSS train do you personally think it’s worth 50 dollars a box
@greyson8035 after trying it this season, I do. Don't think I'll go back
Thanks
Did better than.
Here in virginia No ducks
Dang!
