Game 2 was bizarre. Artosis actually called it much better than Scan and Nyoken. Those two thought that action was still in a position to come back, but I think Artosis has played against so much trash on the ladder that he knows better
if somehow the burrow speedlings could destroy the marine ball, then yeah maybe. but in what situation would Light move his army back without his SCVs?
@@justintung7981 ya if they surrounded the marines out on the map, action could have won. But even after light got home and got his bunker up, scan and Nyoken weren’t expecting action to tap out. Action only had one hatch and maybe like 10 drones mining, there’s just no way to get damage done against marine medic with such little production

What a great series! Great to see you guys come in with the cast even as things get weird with covid in Korea Spoilers Man, I feel so bad for Action! I feel like Light is the better player, but Action played absolutely out of his mind and made this series super close. As a Terran player myself, always like to see the Terrans win.
Very happy to see this, was getting incredibly inpatient for this cast, I cannot believe how unsatisfying the first match was with Rush and Soma. This series was fantastic, I really like Light but there are plenty of Terran players I like, from Zerg there aren't many but Action is one of them, I feel bad he lost after putting up really good games, maybe some bad decisions but say that 4 pool or the almost heroic fight back worked out and he had game 5 to work with he would have a chance. I like these longer series, I was surprised when Action handled the first game so excellently against Light, I figured that was the situation where Light was favored and he seemed to be up so much. The problem is that Light is so solid that winning 3 games in 5 shots against him is extremely challenging. I also think that it might be the case that Light pushing Action hard in the first game after it was over was the impetus for a 4 pool from Action so that might have worked out for him. It seemed closer than it was, Action's heroics were almost enough to steal a win from a loss in a couple games but they were super all in so when they failed Light's advantage was insurmountable.
Ahh when the promo video music hit, Escape the Fate is sooo nostalgic! Brought me back to some sick Proleague times, love that OP. (Was one of the MBC ones around 2010 I think but I could be wrong)
Action will always be my favorite zerg player in TvZ. I'll never forget his proxy hatchery against Light in asl s6. I really hope he wins an ASL someday
Hey, just a suggestion to the Casting Archon themselves, now that they're doing their own production (with Afreeca's blessings) is it possible to add on a game of random length at the end of each TH-cam Video to make the result less obvious? (maybe even one of "Artosis' casts" or an old school replay game?)
Unfortunately you get punished with a bad retention rate if you add random filler to the end of videos which is bad for the youtube algorithm. Also I doubt Afreeca would allow it on their channel.
@@Lockieez No one is here because of the algorithm. This is an ongoing issues over the years and they really should adress it, Soma Vs Rush was totally spoiled for me and most others.

And IMO that would secure more people to watch through to the end or at least to the 70-80% whatever.

Later could get 1 more to burrow at potential 3rd bases if Light tried to float to there. Could have won. Maybe he wasn't thinking Light might lift his CC but he should have expected that once 9 lings were banging on it.
@@sir0herrbatka With 7 lings burrowed strategically it would make the minimum mining distance about 3 times longer, which would give Action a sizable income lead with 8 drones to 16 SCV and the ability to rapidly increase that lead to double or triple Light's income

The lings could have potentially killed the two depots also, or at least one of them, leaving Light with just a CC, rax and refinery. I don't know if Action would be ahead after the turrets came down and CC moved to normal spot. But he could start lair now or take his natural very soon, and then 8 more drones would put him equal on workers. It'd be close.

For anyone else confused about in game 4 (1:33:47) why Action didn't send the mutas to kill Light's base after the ling bust, I could be wrong but I think it has to do with the bunker at 6:11. You can see that Action is mineral starved with 400 gas banked up, and the bunker interrupts mining for almost 1 minute = 400 minerals (6 drones), so maybe Action thought 7 mutas wouldn't do enough damage?
Am i the only one who LOVES scrappy games ?? I like to see what there next move is and it always becomes entertaining I prefer it over a "standard" macro game
I enjoy the scrappy games too; a failed 4 pool that then somehow goes into a longer game is great to watch. I think Artosis just prefers standard macro games because that's all he wants to play when he Ladders, and he appreciates the ability of pros to super optimise those builds.
Crazy fun games. Even as a Terran player I feel bad for action, the matchup is historically favored towards T and often Zerg makes 1 mistake and it's GG. He made it a series and I have mad respect for him continuing to innovate Zerg
But saltosis isn’t still crying that Terran is the weakest race. Watching how action lost the games despite zergling wrecking the expansion is such a pain. Imagine Zerg losing the expansion it would have been GG. Shame on artosis’s saltiness frankly.

I watch both :O It is interesting to see how games are perceived differently. While Artosis also plays at a high level, the other duo usually has some insights that you can't get from Tastosis. Scan especially talks and practices with a lot of these pros.
