If you're gonna have bad puns in your movie, you gotta have at least one character showing disdain for the bad puns. Otherwise that makes the audience think the writers actually think those garbage pubs are funny and expect you to sincerely laugh at those.
I'm a sucker for puns, in an hour long conversation I can create more then 10 of those instantly, more when I have to think about them. But puns actually hurt, and it's actually how your brain reacts to them, because it requires a different kind of thinking, and when it hits, it literally hits. You have to know your audience, and you have to know the reaction to add in you entertainment, not because they suck of course, but immediate painkiller.
1: Well deserved, can't really get any lower with derailing an originally tragic occurrence in history. How these movies managed to get away with directly insulting the Titanic victims, and not be banned is beyond me

I do admit that Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 wasn't as good as the first one, and I have some problems with it such as being too predictable, too cliche, and flint was outta character in some scenes but there were some things that I like which are the characters, the humor (imo, I thought the food puns were funny), the animation, and the designs of the environments of the food island as well as the foodimals. Also, I think that calling the sequel being in the same level as the seltzer and Friedberg movies was just going too far.
I thought it was good. And i really don't think it deserves a serious #3 spot, much less to be on a list with all these atrocities. It looked nice, the weird motions of the characters was in the first movie too and it wasn't really funny then it was just trying to stand out. the foodimals were creative, the puns were bad and they were supposed to be. Back in my 10th grade. I remember having a flim studies class and the class got a chance to talk to writer and director of Hoodwinked. This was before the squeal was out. Though it was in production because they told us about it. I asked about the " unique" animation. They told me it was due to the voice cast. Which was made up of nothing but celebrities.
(Cont). That is just what they told us. It was really do to how small the budget was. This movie was made for around 8 million dollars. Which is nothing for animated movie.

Hoodwinked is very clever. The voice casting is also hilarious. The animation from Hoodwinked isn't the best but it isn't horrible and it can be easily ignored. The way the story follows and works is smart and watching the characters is so funny.

That's their style, and he can't even appreciate that. In his HT2 review, he compares the movie to Inside Out saying how the animation is done "correctly" and makes it more like a movie. Yeah, that's a fair comparison. That's like comparing The Godfather to Dumb and Dumber. These movies are by no means masterpieces, but they were still entertaining. I respect his opinion on not liking these movies, but saying that Cloudy 2 is on the same level as Foodfight is way too harsh. There are far more animated movies out there that are leaps and bounds worse than Cloudy 2, like you said.

In Search of the Titanic is a freaking nonsensical mess! It looks like it gets really stupid, especially with the elixir of life that will make them live forever. Well, at least "Titanic: The Legend Goes On" didn't get a sequel.

The only thing I liked about Cloudy 2 is the end of the scene before the title of the movie shows, the machine says *HAMBURGER!* , Which is actually kinda clever... ... In the BRAZILIAN title. I know, you might be confused, but the Brazilian title is called *Tá Chovendo Hamburger!* (Which roughly translates into *it's Raining Hamburgers!* ) So yeah, at least that movie did something right.
As someone who has a soft spot for the first Happily Never After, since me and my brother bonded whenever it was on, I can safely say that I absolutely hate the sequel.
I watched Tentacolino 2 1/2 times. 1st by myself, 2nd time with my boyfriend, and then I tried to watch it again with my best friend but I couldn't take it anymore.
Well, while I'm not the least bit surprised to see Cloudy 2 on the list, I'm actually kinda glad it wasn't as high as I was expecting. Also, glad HT2 didn't make the list either. I know how much you hate those films, but it's nice to see you don't consider it worse than anything else on this list.

A note on Hoodwink; heard down the vine that the studio were in a situation where they HAD to improve the animation but up to a point where it didn't look too radically different from the first. This means while at points they could up textures and such, they could not improve the choppy movements otherwise it would have lost the feeling that the original creator wanted which was a Rankin-Bass style world.
I'm surprised that the Alpha and Omega sequels weren't mentioned, but that's just my opinion. I'm also surprised on how nobody seems to point out how much The Legend of the Titanic stole from American Tail. But, as always, great video Animat!
I can't even fathom what plot they would have. The video game movies - yes, a vague plot at best, but a plot none the less. These things - emojis - only really exist as an existing existence. Digestion would make for a more compelling movie that that.

That's because the movie was made by North Korea. Travel and immigration is strictly controlled there. The movie is trying to make it look good for kids. They made the rats the villains because they wanted freedom.

I freakin’ love happily never after! Maybe because it’s from my childhood and me and my sisters watched it together and our inside jokes stem from our bi weekly view of the film but it holds a special place in my heart. But the sequel is absolutely horrible.

I have watched TH-cam reviews of Tentacolino, and it deserves to be number 1 on this list for the worst animated sequel, it looks so bad that it's as if the writers for the film were making it bad and stupid on purpose or they were mentally ill and high on drugs, I mean who came up with putting Atlantis, living toys, a rapping shark, power hungry rats in a animated Titanic movie?! Geez this has to be one of the worst movies ever made!

The only thing I liked about Cloudy 2 is the end of the scene before the title of the movie shows, the machine says *HAMBURGER!* , Which is actually kinda clever...

As someone who has a soft spot for the first Happily Never After, since me and my brother bonded whenever it was on, I can safely say that I absolutely hate the sequel.
I watched Tentacolino 2 1/2 times. 1st by myself, 2nd time with my boyfriend, and then I tried to watch it again with my best friend but I couldn't take it anymore.

Well, while I'm not the least bit surprised to see Cloudy 2 on the list, I'm actually kinda glad it wasn't as high as I was expecting. Also, glad HT2 didn't make the list either. I know how much you hate those films, but it's nice to see you don't consider it worse than anything else on this list.

1:48 what's ironic is that despite this movies lack of humor this part kind of became a meme.
A note on Hoodwink; heard down the vine that the studio were in a situation where they HAD to improve the animation but up to a point where it didn't look too radically different from the first. This means while at points they could up textures and such, they could not improve the choppy movements otherwise it would have lost the feeling that the original creator wanted which was a Rankin-Bass style world.

That's because the movie was made by North Korea. Travel and immigration is strictly controlled there. The movie is trying to make it look good for kids. They made the rats the villains because they wanted freedom.

I freakin’ love happily never after! Maybe because it’s from my childhood and me and my sisters watched it together and our inside jokes stem from our bi weekly view of the film but it holds a special place in my heart. But the sequel is absolutely horrible.
So the first part had the transitions with 5/10 movies, while this one has the seal-of-garbage sequels as transitions
