I’m a Yank from New York and started supporting the Toon in 99 when I chose them in a video game because I thought the Name and the a badge were good. Been supporting them ever since💪🏻
I got the bug when I saw the film Goal. In my young mind Newcastle was on par with real. I thought that Newcastle was the club to follow if you Mexican!! 😅 Toon for Life!!!!
Have to say this as I don't want you to think it goes unnoticed but, got to say Eddy, your camera work and storytelling is by far the best amongst Newcastle fan channels. I follow a lot of professional videographers on youtube and I can see a lot of similarities between your content style and theirs. You don't stay in one spot, I can see that you always move around to get the full atmosphere, you match the music to the moment. Massive kudos to you on it because it really is first class. Also the content within it is always excellent. I like a lot of Newcastle fan channels and a lot of them are very unique. Think our fanbase is very lucky to have so many hard working content creators around. The effort you put into your content is very visible. Look forward to seeing many more videos to come.
I'm a 65 year old nana, and a Geordie expat living in Georgian bay Canada. My nephew Dean who was born in Newcastle, took his family of girls to see this game, from Ontario. They are in this video and I couldn't have been prouder of my Geordie heritage watching this great video. I'm still blowin' me nose and dryin" me tears. Positives Miley plays like someone that’s a few seasons into being a Prem regular so composed for 17 years old. Anderson looks like he is turning into some player. Also Joelinton when coming on really took a hold on our midfield.

yes it was a friendly but.. defence was poor all game Trippier caught out of position too many times we played very high line and got out done.. maybe because we played 3 at the back dont think that works, Tonali needs to be stronger and Dubraka needed to save that second goals at his near post. Wilson should of had a peno as well. very impressed with Anderson. we also need to work on how switched on we are at kick off first half and second half it cost us some goals last season and definitely did last night.

You have to give it to the Americans they know how to be a sports fan. They seem way more into lots different sports than us they obviously are big on American football, baseball but also basket ball nascar. However i think we concentrate on one sport and throw all our passion into it. Or i might be wrong haha

I thought Dummett had a tidy game, if not unspectacular. Targett was used in a formation he’s not familiar with as EH tested some different roles for players. We won’t buy a left back this window but I think we’ll get a right footed defender. Livramento is U21 so doesn’t affect the 25 man squad limit. It just depends if we’re willing to spend above his market value. I don’t think Axel will be coming in but you never know 👍🏻

You need to consider just who Newcastle will play first this season and consider why Eddie played a weird formation with Trippier out of position.

Hoping the next game is at Mercedes Benz stadium, former home of 'Miggy' Almiron, what a stadium, of course the detractors will bemoan the artificial turf, but it works for us! You have to give it to the Americans they know how to be a sports fan. They seem way more into lots different sports than us they obviously are big on American football, baseball but also basket ball nascar. However i think we concentrate on one sport and throw all our passion into it. Or i might be wrong haha

I thought Dummett had a tidy game, if not unspectacular. Targett was used in a formation he’s not familiar with as EH tested some different roles for players.
We won’t buy a left back this window but I think we’ll get a right footed defender. Livramento is U21 so doesn’t affect the 25 man squad limit. It just depends if we’re willing to spend above his market value.
I don’t think Axel will be coming in but you never know 👍🏻
