- The Glory Days are back in Cleveland! 2013 - What a season to remember! Here are the highlights of 2013 featuring the greatest play-by-play announcer in the history of the game, Tom Hamilton.
The Swing....Hit High....Hit Deep....A WAAAAAAY BACK...........The Boys deliver the hits-homers-plays......Tom Hamilton delivers The Goods.......Nuff said! Cheers Indian Fans
I remember watching or listening to about 90% of these, but I don't think I will ever forget the Giambi walk-off call in the midst of their 10-game win streak. GO TRIBE!
I got goosebumps just listening to these calls. I was also at the 2nd Giambi walkoff vs Chicago and the HR Porch went crazy (mosh pit) It was the greatest Tribe game I've ever went to. Can't wait till Opening Day. Go Tribe.
The season of dreams has become a reality. Here we go Cleveland!
Each commentary is so good. I can't pick out a favorite!
Lou Marson getting hurt was arguably one of the biggest moments of the season for the tribe. It allowed for the call up and emergence of Gomes
You are so right with this. And I loves me some Lou Marson.
I was 10 in 2013 and that I watched that Seattle series with all those walk offs. My second favorite regular season series I've ever watched!!!!!!
That series was so fun to watch!! Runs after runs
I'm blessed to pick up WTAM on a good night so I can hear Hammy call the games. He's like our Leafs announcer but for the Indians. Such a shitty way to end a crazy season last year but I have a feeling 14's gonna be a beaut. Go Tribe!!!
Your Tom Hamilton videos are just awesome.
Any chance you might consider uploading 'Wahoo! What a Finish!'? It'd be great to watch that again.
I used to have that VHS, kick myself every now and then for losing track of it. '95 was pure magic. I also used to have an "Albert Bell" (cowbell-like thing).
Tom Hamilton is awesome. I have been a Tribe fan since 1954.
Jason Giambi, of all people, saved the season - in just few minutes, total despair turned into pure joy.
"Well he saw that baby!" This is awesome. Thanks! Can't wait for Wednesday night!
Seriously thank you for making this. So awesome!
Great job JLTrain! Your Tom Hamilton compilations are priceless! Can't wait to see more and Roll Tribe!
"Away Back!" nice quote, love Tom Hamilton.
It was a wild and rollercoaster-like ride last season, but it sure was fun! Hope the Tribe do even better this season!
"This team is some kind of hot!" even if we don't make it all the way. It's year's like this that make being a Tribe fan so worth it. GoTribe!
12:35 this is why we love baseball
Cleveland has the best commentators. This one from the Browns and Indians especially:)
Not cavs... Austin Carr.... So annoying
I’m a pirates fan and 2013 really was a special year for the Indians and pirates.
What a compilation! Thank you!
I loved it until the last highlight. It still hurts me that we lost the wild card game ;.;
Hoping for another great season in 2015!
So many walk offs lol. Lets hope for another great year in brohio.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a collection of fantastic memories! Thanks so much for putting this together. I know I'll be watching this often during those long, cold winter days upcoming when I miss baseball a lot and can't wait for spring training! :)
Awesome man! Thanks for putting this together!
This was a fun year! Hope we could make it to the playoffs this year and possible win big!!!! Let Go Tribe
This team was so fun to watch
No, I'm totally not crying and replaying the moment when Tito an Brad Mills hugged. Why do you ask? *sniff*
More like "one of the most incredible series match-ups you'll ever see!!!!!" in the series against Seattle.
14:09 to the end gives me goosebumps every time.
Awesome job.....thanks
BEST video on TH-cam!! Thanx JLTrain
I can't help it, but, I love Cleveland baseball!
Awesome commentator !

The best is yet to come GO TRIBE!!
I'm emotional!
#RollTribe #Windians
I remember watching Mike Aviles's grand slam on tv. 9:23
Tom Hamilton is da greatest sports announcer ever easy
A SWING AND A DRIVE....A WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY BACK....GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNE!
Great video! I thought I saw Kipnis the other day at Georges Kitchen diner! Here's to making the playoffs in 2014!
This is why Hamilton is the best announcer.
2013 Cleveland Indians reminded me of the A's from 2012. Amazing video
its moments like these
This season we were two games off the playoffs.
I believe they'll make the playoffs this year.
Forget that. They'll be AL Central CHAMPIONS this year!
I agree with you on this one. This is their biggest improved season ever. I think they'll go all the way.
They just might!
mother fucking world series baby!
I remember watching 12:55. What a moment.
I hope this team gets hot in the next two months. We're only 6.5 games back of the motor city kitties, I would love to see some postseason baseball, and I don't mean that stupid one game wildcard stuff. We're on a rise again with our sports teams. GO TRIBE!
Let's do it boys!!
Hop aboard, everyone. We're going on a feel trip.
i cant wait to come home and go to a game
Where are you?
We went from losing 94 games to winning 92.
Makes me wonder how he doesn't blow his voice.
go go ryan raburn !
go tribe next year tampa bay
Haha LONG FLY BALL, DEEP CENTER FIELD, IT'S OUTTA ROOM, IT'S OUTTA HERE! GONE TO SOUVENIR CITY!
#GiambiBomb
Great Season. But in 2014 the Indians are going to win the fall classic. One more thing the Yankees Suck. Tribe rules.
The team hasn't gotten any better. They haven't picked up anyone that would improve the team. 2013 had some moments(Giambombs), but ultimately, the Tribe stunk against teams above .500. They were good at beating up cellar teams, but that will NEVER translate to a World Series Pennant.
Who replaces him as the closer, though? Bryan Shaw or Cody Allen are possible candidates, but our problem wasn't our pitching. It was our offense.
Dr.Beef We have John Axford to replace Perez, but he's coming back from Tommy John, so we'll have to see how he does. Besides that, the bullpen looks pretty fierce with Shaw, Allen, Rzepczynski, and Josh Outman; to be honest, most of our losses against teams like Detroit and Boston were because of late-inning implosions. Sure we lost Smith and Albers, but there's more balance now that Perez is gone.
I wouldn't say the starting pitching is bad, either, but it is filled with unknowns. The only "proven" pitchers we have in the rotation are Masterson and, to an extent, Kluber. Then we have Salazar and McCallister, two young pitchers who have yet to break out, and either Tomlin or Carrasco, who can be liabilities at times (Tomlin because of TJ again, and Carrasco because of control issues).
You are right in that the offense was inconsistent last year. Bourn, Cabrera and Swisher, to an extent, had down years. The hype surrounding Stubbs, Reynolds, and Chisenhall fell through. Howvever, we saw Kipnis and Brantley make some good strides. We saw Raburn and especially Gomes break out a little bit. Even Santana had a pretty solid year despite his gripes about "not playing enough in the field". They still don't have that guy who can hit 30 home runs and drive in 100 runs, but they do have about four or five who can hit 20 and drive in 70 or 80, with the rest just under that. It's a lot of speculation, but there's potential for consistent run production if everyone can bounce back.
Long story short, will the Tribe win the pennant in 2014? Most likely not, given the fact that not much was done to improve upon what worked in 2013, compared to other clubs. But will the Tribe come close to repeating 2013? Yes.
No other announcer in sports is better.None
of course the first time ever we land the top wild card spot, they had to implement the dumb new play-in game. i really believe we could have taken down boston in the first round. *sigh*. just depresses me, another championship-less season when we were playing so well down the stretch. being a good non playoff team doesnt suffice for me anymore. I WANT A DAMN CHAMPIONSHIP IN CLEVELAND
