That came out nice, Ronnie. Back when I was single, I cooked on the small George Foreman grill a lot! May break it out again soon after seeing this cook.
@@SouthernFoodJunkie I used to have one in college but haven’t had one since then. I really wanted to look into getting an instapot i believe you have one? What kind of good food can you make with those?
@@waltonboys9438 I have a instapot and it works great to cook food quick. I have made a good many things in it. Sometimes it’s using two cooking processes such as making bbq baked chicken. I cooked the chicken breast in the instapot for about 8 minutes, then take them out and cover them with bbq sauce and bake the sauce on. It was very tender and juicy. You can add spices to the instapot to flavors the meat. The pressure pushes the spices into the meat. I’ve made many others. I need to get some recipes out making all of these soon! I think the George Foreman is an awesome appliance to have as well. So quick to make a hamburger or cook chicken if your in a hurry!
How long does it take for a good olé Spam steak? Asking for a friend 🐢😜Also I would like to mention I just noticed that slogan on that Forman “Fat grilling machine” Ya know I feel offended buddy🤣 Great job on video Ronnie but I did notice to you didn’t cook for the rest of the family 🤷♂️😜
I bet spam would be great on the foreman lol. The turtle man cooking show might feature that one day! Never know. Yeah I’m offended too lol. I did this when the family was gone do I ate the rest steak and the second one for the pictures lol 😂
I just wipe the probe off and that’s it! Or do you mean the George Foreman? They are not too hard to clean either. I use a soapy rag first and place the grill on the edge of the sink. Wipe then rinse rag then wipe until clean. Don’t submerge it in water! Then I plug it back up to heat it up to dry it iff( and kill germs lol 😆)
@@chipsammich2078 Oh well I would still consider this one of the most successful inventions of all time, right up there with the microwave. Thanks for trying them out. Glad it helped. Thanks.
We've had a George Foreman sitting out in the garage for maybe 15 or 20 years, I think we've used it twice. (maybe only once). It's kind of hard to clean and it doesn't make the meat taste any better. We might as well cook the steak in a skillet on the gas stove. Grilling over charcoal is my favorite, but that's kind of a lot of work. It might work for some people, but it's not for us.
I find it to be easy to clean. The flavor doesn’t come from cooking but from the type of meat you buy and the way it’s seasoned. No different than cooking on a gas grill or oven etc. many many restaurants cook steaks in the oven. What makes this better than a stove top is how quick it cooks. I think it has a place in the kitchen for quick meals. If it wasn’t any good, it would have quit selling by now. Over 100 million in sales is pretty impressive! Thanks buddy.

@@SouthernFoodJunkie yes it does!!! Just made burgers on it earlier . I should’ve used more oil though . It cleaned very easy though

Yes it is a great small appliance! 7 minutes sounds right to me!
To what temperature you are heating the grill up?
This particular George Foreman doesn’t have a heat setting. Just on/off button.
Great tips. Thanks Do you have to flip meat on a GFG ?
No you don’t have to flip it. It has heating elements in the top and bottom sides! Thanks for watching.
good job, thanks man
Thanks, I appreciate it.
My steak has a hot date with George Forman tonight. TY for the times and temperatures! ❤

George foreman grill is more sucessful than the microwave?
Maybe not but the microwave was never a “As Seen on TV” product 😉

What's the wattage?
I’m honestly not sure. The GF just plugs in. It doesn’t have any settings.
