To be fair in Canada at least -30 outside means a cold factory even if the heaters are on full blast a factory is not a house roll up doors , ventilation all contribute to heat loss

If you look at the assembly process, they use sliding fit tolerances. Also room temperature has no effect on mechanical properties. Maybe if the product is sent to Africa the tolerance will be Press Fit. 🤔
Machines probably work better in cooler temps, temp of material is probably taken into account at manufacturing time , cooler temps promote more work also easier to put clothing on than try to cool yourself down. .
