The best solution would be to continue using fossil fuel and gradually introduce new technology to replace carbon. Alongside this ways of reducing the temperature of the climate in other ways. There are many ways of achieving this such as making clouds more reflective and send more sun light in to space. Painting all roofs white or a special reflective paint to reflect sun light back in to space which would reduce the temperature of the air. Government should help develop new technology and tax the use of fossil fuels to increase costs and make carbon expensive.

Thank you Mr Gates for your wisdom and expert guidance. And a special thanks to The Rothschild family for all they do to make the world a better place.
Bill Gates initially estimated that China needs at least 40 or 40 nuclear power plants. The United States also needs 40 nuclear power plants. India has 25 nuclear power plants. Do you know how much it costs? And it needs to be planned and constructed very quickly
As western nations spend the next few years investing in (long overdue) major infrastructure programs, it stands to reason, steel production will increase. Will be interesting to see whether governments mandate innovation in tender documents
Realistically? Outright banning fossil fuel powered cars. Ticketing people for driving them, or forcing people to have filters on their exhausts, and ticketing them for not having exhaust filters. Government sponsored fossil fuel for electric powered vehicles trade-ins too. This would also start a lot of protest.
Instead of seeing whether people protest or demonstrates then look at it for what it is. Does changing fossile fuel vehicles to electricity make a positive or wanted change? We know the production of the steel and batteries for electric cars are causing more pollution (co2 and harm to local environment) than cars running on fossile fuels. We also know that a lot of countries in this world doesn't have the luxury of getting vast amounts of energy by building dams as this can only be done if you have a high mountain range with large amounts of melting ice. example Norway. Then you have wind energy, this is not a fixed energy gathering hence you would have blackouts all the time if you only depended on wind energy. The way we have resolved that in Denmark is by the use of coal. Denmark has lots of wind but still we aren't seeing our electricity production becoming much greener why? = we are using more energy. As production of energy increases the price of energy usually become lower. This leads to an increased use of energy that increases demand and production and prices increase. Having electric cars means making a society that depend on continuous flow of electricity everywhere in society all the time. Since the only renewable we can control is hydropower we will see that making our societies completely green is not able to happen. What we can do is making supplement alternatives. For an example we could create a sort of reserve of energy, for an example by making an isolated system, where we put excessive energy and when in need withdraw from this reserve when needed. That techonology however is very costly and not profitable in the near future.
Because we all need to work together for us to fix this. You can't only have companies change to fix this. You can't only have consumers and workers change to fix this. Companies, Consumers+workers and governments all need to work together and coordinate with each other to solve this issue.
He's not littl, you're trying to put down someone who has achieved for more than you ever have. Entitled? He worked hard to get where he's at. Its actual science he has learnt or been advised on.
It’s funny that we take advice from bill gates for everything even though he’s not qualified and just has lots of money. Why not interview an actual environmental or climate change scientist???
It's hard to have globalist policies and solve these problems. How are you gonna trade with foreign countries and then try to implement restrictions on production. Companies will take their production elsewhere and sell back into your country competing with all the poor saps that try to follow the restrictions struggling to remain competitive with global trade.

As an green architect working for a steel company in modular design, I wanted to share this low-carbon steel process called HYBRIT which uses an Electric Arc Furnace driven off renewables, it’s relatively new and needs further r&D. But once solved we can recycle 90% of new steel and further reduce waste and site energy with factory-built tall modular.
What’s up with recycling now? How much is getting recycled?

The best solution would be to continue using fossil fuel and gradually introduce new technology to replace carbon.
Alongside this ways of reducing the temperature of the climate in other ways.
There are many ways of achieving this such as making clouds more reflective and send more sun light in to space.
Painting all roofs white or a special reflective paint to reflect sun light back in to space which would reduce the temperature of the air.
Government should help develop new technology and tax the use of fossil fuels to increase costs and make carbon expensive.

Why do you ask Bill Gates about what needs to be done about climate change!? Why is Bill Gates vision about a green revolution important, even relevant at all? What is his expertise on the subject? Gates is a private software developer, what qualifies him to speak for us, what "we" need to do? He's always looking for investments, that's his prime interest, he should not have the platform you give him to speak! How about you ask a climate change expert to talk what is needed to bring about needed change?
Um, he runs a foundation that employs hundreds of climate experts. So he is quite well versed on climate science. That is his primary work now, not his investment.

One of the problems is that governments are not regulating to mitigate the effects of corporate economic activity.
A deeper issue is that in capitalism the environment doesn't have value. It's just a means to an end, not an end in itself. Maybe we need to change this thinking so that people want to save the environment like they want to save money 🤷♀️

Bill Gates initially estimated that China needs at least 40 or 40 nuclear power plants. The United States also needs 40 nuclear power plants. India has 25 nuclear power plants. Do you know how much it costs? And it needs to be planned and constructed very quickly
Sounds like two birds squawking at each other.
As western nations spend the next few years investing in (long overdue) major infrastructure programs, it stands to reason, steel production will increase. Will be interesting to see whether governments mandate innovation in tender documents
So now innovation is being called a green premium? Sounds like a bunch of confusion. Did I just come out of a basic economic class?
It seems there may be a big challenge finding greener ways to power all the heavy machinery used for large scale crop production.
It's time to begin the transition to the future. Keep being a leader, Bill
Why is it up to one little entitled rich man to tell the masses who work to live, how to live?
Because we all need to work together for us to fix this. You can't only have companies change to fix this. You can't only have consumers and workers change to fix this. Companies, Consumers+workers and governments all need to work together and coordinate with each other to solve this issue.
He's not littl, you're trying to put down someone who has achieved for more than you ever have.
Entitled? He worked hard to get where he's at.
