It's wild, when you listen to the original "I'm not a vampire", it feels so fun and light hearted. But then you listen to revamped and when you look at the lyrics from another angle, another style, it still WORKS. I'm blown away
Same with The Drug in me is You Reimagined. I actually like the second versions better for both songs. The way theyre redone adds so much more emotion

Derek Jones was the guitarist of Falling in Reverse, remaining last original member with Ronnie. He sadly passed away last year after his wife’s death.

@@nutzer1337 Christina (his wife) diagnosed with cancer in early 2019 and sadly passed away in fall 2019, most likely october/november. Derek passed away in 2020, November 19. Ronnie himself announced it but we have no clue how it happened, the reason of his death is not currently known. He loves his wife a lot, that might be the reason but just to respect him, I tried to never think how it happened. It is just so sad, I wished things could be different.
I remember watching the original song and it was completely different. I didn’t expect this coming to listen.
If you get a chance Listen to it again and try to look at it about the depression and grief he has been going thru, so deep imo

I really think now that your full time TH-cam, you should consider looking at his entire catalog. You'll be able to see all the growth from when he first started. It's crazy to see from where he was when he first released this track in 2011 to this version now 10 years later.

I love the original and the revamped too. The emotion and passion is still there and I love that Ronnie is still showing that but in a more mature way than the original, showing us how he has developed as an artist, which is still dope!

He wrote this and "The Drug In Me Is You" while incarcerated. I'm pretty sure these reimagined versions were shot during Covid and were shot at his home.
