They are chunky. They are Ultramarines. They have big guns with small hands. They have defects but they know no fear. And they will look great in my display case! Mine are still in travel since I ordered them recently because they were also on sale - probably shops are cleaning inventories for the incoming wave of new JT figures. After heavy intercessors I was undecided but, due to lack of normal intercessor squads for building my army, I decided to invest on these. Fingers crossed for any missing/screwed part!
Yup yup Gravis Armor bois are indeed chonky bois for sure. All of these action figures I admit look damn good under glass for sure. I hope that you get yours soon!
@@SpruesNStuds I took the fig apart and repainted the whole thing. There was the underside of the pack that I left ultramarines blue since it was difficult to paint. Don’t want to plug my work here, but you can find it here on TH-cam for a peek if you would like to see it😁
New hands just sucks. Cannot hold weapons. But the figures itself is great! Paint the heels on my brother Ventan with gunmetal. Breaks the monotone just right. And as always, congrats with the new pieces for your collection!
You and me both...I really wish that JT would change the whole entire Ultramarine line into BA but you already know that UM are the poster boys of Games Workshop
Not a Gravis Armor fan I see lol. JT is a little back logged on their releases apparently. The techmarine was supposed to be released back in January...we are still waiting...
I definitely like how Joytoy is doing something that the big toy companies never attempt to do. When Transformers did the Combiners war line they released dozens of remolds and repaints all for the same price, by the end one mold had 12 reuses. Joytoy is a smaller company with a niche product and they are repainting these guys as Salamanders with a minor shoulder retool for HALF the price. This review pretty much was the final straw, snagging T'kren. No attachment to Salamanders but when its the same price as a McFarlane fig, why not?
In terms of painting and shading, JT has done better in the past especially with the V1 Space Marines. Lately, I will concede that the finer aesthetics are lacking (highlights and shading) but the overall quality of the figures have improved ( articulation and general sturdiness of the figures). Also for "generic" primaries marines, JT is not too much of a money sink....but that's how they get you in the end don't they?
Thanks for the compliment on the review. Sadly, I think that JT quality control is about the same across most of the action figure line. The only time in which I received decent figures was the Grey Knight lineup.
Yeah I think that the only Dark Angel that was released was by McFarlane. You would repaint all these action figs into DA but it would take a long time.

Love that figure with the double metagun, I’m a Wolves chapter fan so I converted mine into a Wolf😊
Very nice! Did you repaint the action figures?

Finger not in the trigger. Why, thats a new feature! Joytoy is promoting gun safety. LOL
Hahaha for sure

Sable! How can a space marine properly eliminate heresy and xenos if they cannot properly wield weapons right? Nice customization on the heels
@@SpruesNStuds Thanks!
How to eliminate? Smack them with a butt of the weapon of course!
Nice review as always brother
Much appreciated and thanks for watching!
Brother Sprues, us brothers were hoping to see your joytoy collection if this is possible.
I hope that the armies are gathering strength!
Yep, I am amassing quite an action figure collection. Space is becoming an issue
2:20 Question. Any specific eye color? Black? Brown? Blue?
I hope that the BA gets these eradicator figures.
You and me both...I really wish that JT would change the whole entire Ultramarine line into BA but you already know that UM are the poster boys of Games Workshop
Too chunky for my taste. Good review as always. I have ordered the techmarine and i hope it will be supremely cool. Sprues, keep the great work!!!

good review
sad joytoy quality control is going down

Im waiting fr a better dark angel one myself. We only have the one :/
