Farmer would be stoked to get a few less in his paddocks. I think sometimes as deer hunters we forget how much many rural owners are plagued by these critters. Sometimes you just have to do what needs doing. Well done.

Numbers of deer need to be controlled on farm land don’t have a problem with that but I don’t recon culling stags unless they are of pour quality is a win for the hunter
Understand yr point but on this property the farmer wants them shot. Big or small, he has had others there in the past shooting and when they tell him we saw 20 but didn't shoot any because they weren't a trophy he gets pissed off. Heli cull has been through and made no difference. Massive problem for the farmer. So just doing the job we are asked to do. If you have a property u shoot for the same reasons never tell the farmer you let them walk.
