Being open format is so underrated hard, everything could be a miss or a hit it’s so interesting just depends on the crowd and people. Your an amazing dj
Thanks! I love playing open format. It's a lot of fun to change genres throughout the night and hit a variety of different stuff for me as well as the task of trying to balance the musical tastes of everyone in the crowd.
Awesome video Steve! Love hearing the behind the scenes of these events! And thank you for giving us some inspiration with these great edits!!! Can't wait for the Patreon drop!! I will be first in line!!
Great job man, you killed that dance floor! Love how you mentioned to appreciate these gigs while your in them! Regardless of how small or big the gig is, i really step back and have a moment to myself as being behind those decks feel like home. Also, a few of my Bride & Groom's for their wedding requested NOT to play Mr. Brightside, but wanted Ocean Avenue. I think its this generation in which Mr. Brightside is just played out. They didn't get to experience how big a hit it was back in the early 2000s lol.
Thanks man! That's a great way to look at a gig. Overall Mr. Brightside was actually really strong at this gig, like I could cut the volume and they were shouting the lyrics. It was literally one person getting to me lol.
I love a ton of your edits!!!!!! It’s great to hear your thought process and how you go thru a gig!!!!

This is what we all want. Thx Steve
I'm glad, trying to give the people what they want!

The video is great, you need to keep promoting your channel. Is not hard.

15:56 you need to flex that bad romance remix. It goes crazy, especially compared to the original!!!

Solid video Steve -videographer from Bourbon
What's up bro, good seeing you! Keep crushing the promo out there
Man I always hate having to do open formats. It’s sooooo hard
bostonnnnnnnnn ayoooo
🔥
Did you just call them up to book a show there? Im from the Chicago land area and have been hoping to get into djing at a venue like Bourbon Street.
They had reached out to me for the booking. It's a sick spot, would definitely recommend playing there if you get the chance.
You had me at Papa Roach cover band.
If I wasn't DJing I would've been in the pit for Blood Brothers
