When you get a chance, you should provide us with an update on how things are going for you now in life. It'll be great for people, specifically the next generation of brothers/sisters, to see all of the opportunities that serving in the military can afford you. I tell every young man/woman to consider it. Do the 4yrs, get the benefits, and live a great life!
Congratulations on the new baby From one retired vet to another, thanks for your service. I have no doubt you will succeed I retired in 99 and it was a joke and now going through process of claiming things through VA again. I hear it’s gotten better. I had to rely on photocopies and that’s another story. You hit some great points for those wanting to get out. PLAN N BACKIP PLAN. I was fortunate to do 4 months TAD before getting out and saved per diem, paid off debts and then tried to find a job. 20 years of steady paycheck and never an interview, and it’s a big adjustment. Fortunately, I self taught my way in the IT world and my time TAD helped start me in the DoD where I hope to retire next year or depending on how my VA resubmittal goes. Best of wishes to your family and wishing ya all love, health and prosperity. Thanks again for your time answering questions in your channel. I’m glad I found it. Alan. EA1(USN, Ret).
I was told the same thing from TAPS about the healthcare after 6 months, was very upset when I called the VA and they said that's not the case. Been out for 4 months now from the Air Force. keep up the vids bro
I'm happy to hear that it worked out for you. My plan did not work out as I expected (like almost everything in life), no surprise there. When I got out of the Navy earlier this year I put my family on Medicaid. I wished I followed your advice on getting food stamps (form your previous video) earlier. I've been doing real estate. I'm 50% disabled but currently working to get a higher % rate with the VA. But it def tough first year out, at least for me. However, I am graduating in Health Service Administration and I've been applying for a Federal job so hopefully I strike. Keep pushing forward.

@@LawlessYoduh yes you can definitely join at 30. With a bachelors degree there is no doubt why you can’t become a office. If I were you I would hit up a local recruiter and see what’s the qualifications. I know for a fact that a bachelors degree is one of them.
