I agree, this video is very well made. She presents the recipe very well and explains the process of creating the raw dessert in a sensible way that would make it accessible to people new to raw desserts.
I just made your tart and it is soooo delicious!! Thank you for the comprehensive instructions, I had fun preparing this tart and an amazing time eating it!! Bless you, Sam xxx
Jennifer I just made this recipe today. OMG this is soooo good. Even my kids love it (ha, if they knew there is avocado in it!!!) Thanks for posting, this is awesome and will become my favourite raw dessert!!
These recipes are great! I can't wait to try them. You should have your own show on the Food Network and show people how easy and delicious raw can be!
OMG!!! I made this and took it to work to share with my co-workers, no did not tell them how it was made, but they all loved it! I told them after they had eaten it what was in it and they could not believe it! It is sooooo yummy, I can't imagine how some thing so good for you could taste so amazing!!
@herculesAML I've made her crust many times and they stay together. Are you freezing it? You have to freeze the crust itself for at least 15-30 minutes, and make sure you grind it long enough so when you mush it between your hands it holds together itself. The dates is what holds it together. Anyway while its freezing you can make your "batter." Once everything is done you put the batter on top of the crust and freeze it once again for at least 2 hours.
@retrogirl91 Raw is more than organic, although organic foods play a role in a raw food diet. Raw means that the foods are used from their natural, raw state and they usually aren't cooked in order to maintain that raw, earthy feel. This is believed to preserve the nutrients, beautiful color, and taste of the ingredients! Hope that helps.
I rented your dvd fromt he library. I love your hair shorter like in this video. it shows your sweet sincere personality. You come across clear, homey, and smart. I really like your presentation better than any other raw food presenter. You make it basic and EASY,.. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Great recipe. But when I did it and try to cut it, the crust crumbled up. It is not holding. Should I add water next time so it is sticky? Also, it was too sweet and the mousse came out too little. Maybe add more water to the mousse and decrease or eliminate the agave?
Oh yes! All those nut, fruit and pit fruit allergics are REALLY gonna appreciate that you bring a dessert made from ground nuts, dried fruit and avocado.
Sorry but did I hear you say 'butter doesn't have much taste on their own'? You better not let any French person watch this video. And by the way, I can eat butter and drink cream on its own because I think they taste amazing. I'm not being a troll here but rather just voicing my opinion. That said I do have to agree that the concept of raw food is an interesting one although I'm not sure if I would contemplate the idea of cutting out all those delicious ingredients that you omit in your recipes
Typical store-bought butter doesn't have much of a taste. But since I've been buying organic butter from cow's milk from summer-eaten grasses, I have found it to be sweet. That's what good butter should taste like, but she may only have eaten the usual store butter which is rather taste-less.

@Chrisysmusik sometimes ovens can also have a dehydrator setting. so she might just use it for the dehydrator.
I LOVE HER!
So how many dates? How many walnuts? How much dried coconut??
where are the ingridient amounts????
Thank you for the great video... I'm allergic to avacado and was wondering what I could use to substitute in its place when raw recipes call for it

omg she got her countertop into the tart pan
Your right i heard it too, but you need to put up the volume. lol
Would love to make this recipe, the only concern would be the price that I would spend since I have to buy organic and raw.
Well done! I
Is there a substitute for dates? Like any other foods that could hold crust together?

I don't have a food possessor. Can i still make the crust with a blender?
where can I get that kind of coconut...thing?
beauty!
i have an allergy to all nuts what can i use as a sub for these?
please help me
maybe you can use seeds. what about sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds?
hello ...
may i substitute agave for honey ?
thnx
Agave is not a healthy choice. Stick with honey. It has been used for thousands of years and is a healthy sweetener. draxe.com/agave-nectar/
Why does she say wheat and white flour like they are two different things?
On the plus side, I will be trying this recipe :-)
hazelnuts would be great with the chocolate
if u dont cook anything, why do have an oven?
I always soak all my nuts and then dehydrate. Then keep in jars in the freezer. Always ready for whatever recipe
Could you use something else instead of dades??

You know what's really helpful? Amounts.
