Very nice video...I love taking care of animals in game...I haven't bought my cows yet as I'm concentrated first on getting the right equipment and food first...I have almost a full bunker of silage which took me about 20 loads (biggest forage trailer) of dried grass...I have maybe 20 bales of hay (dried grass) and 20 bales of straw (cut wheat or barley)...I also have the water too...The part I'm trying to figure out is the grass food, is that just cut grass (un-tendered) and picked up with forager or baler?
You can buy a water tower and fill you water trailer up with it or you can fill it up in a river or pond
I spent 2 million getting ready for my cattle lmao
If you just use a fork loader or fork lift you can just pick up straw bails and drop them off at the feeder and it will spread for bedding so much faster and easier lol :)

Jeeez i have been so frustrated because i couldn't find out what "power food was"! And it was all this time the same mix as i used to feed cows in FS15 xD well now i know, thanks! :D

Thanks for the video, cleared a couple things up and definitely helped out. My only real nitpick is it makes more sense to put the grass in the barn trough and the TMR on one of the side troughs because you can use the forage wagon right there, scoop up the grass and load it right back in.
John Belden You can do that too, but if you want me be more realistic the TMR should go in the barn trough.

Thanks a lot for the tutorial man... the new animal system is making me go crazy...any plan on making one for the pig? there is a lot of food listed on the in game menu....dunno what to do :P

What i do to fill my water tank is go down by the river and stick the tank in the water to fill it up close and easy

Great video! Can you recommend a good method to make some income as this method is too expensive?We ( 6 people ) keep harvesting soybeans & selling for 1k EUR but we really got bored of it. We also tried forestry, cutting trees with the chainsaw and selling them but, again, it's not a passive income and you always have to be there. Any tips?
in multiplayer (since there are no missions) it is pretty difficult to get the funds to actually start a well profitable farm. At the start I suggest doing conola, it has always served me well but play around with the different crops and one should stick out to you. ALWAYS only sell when in high demand, stock pile until then and dont use workers at the start or you will go in debt fast.
You can get free water at any of the lakes or streams
please, make videos on daylight, its pretty hard to see for some ppl now, just use a time forward mod/cheat game for tutorials :)

How did you put all the grain on the ground like that? I can't put anything on the ground to start my mix! The trailer never gives me the option to unload
George Hourani if you play on console then you have to hold both bumpers then for ps4 press triangle and for xbox i think you press Y sry but i don't know the buttons for pc
on pc it's left ctrl+i

hi can anyone help I have a field of 6 cows I've set feed up good .all stats for cows are full but my grass is at 0% the cows are in a field full of grass
You just have to unload some mowed grass into the trough.

Do the cows begin to get really profitable at any stage? I have 77 cows in my game and they are a lot of effort to maintain and I am only getting about 38k each night.
Mr.Mister that's pretty profitable just fill the 2 bins up on the storage shelter up with straw from the field right next to it when there is wheat on it harvest the first couple rows then go with forage harvester and collect everything but make sure to swap back and forth
TM Miner There was a lot more money to be made with cows in the last game.

I have everything but grass and my cows have no productivity and they will not produce manure or liquid manure.
EDIT: Same as my pigs. I gave them everything they need and they won't produce anything at all.

Nah, I just prefer the round, you can use any bales or just scoop it up.

how can i get watter?
right by the railroad tracks closest to the pen there is a water tower that you can fill up at. Sorry I didn't know of any while I was making the video. If you need help on what it looks like check out my pig tutorial, I use one of the same water towers.
