@@TheSussexOutdoorsman congratulations for the equipaments
I just got my Bison/Husqvarna Hiking Hatchet a month ago and LOVE IT! Frankly Bison is a totally underated German manufacturer and they make great axes! I'm just disappointed that Husky couldn't keep it in Sweden...
Yes, the Bushbox XL is a great part. I have the stainless steel one and am happy with it to this day. Well, when it comes to the axe, I'm more into Gransfors👌 Greetings, Stefan
Yeah i agree with the axe. It's not quite what i was looking for but it is more then capable of slitting quite big stuff. Maybe looking at the GFB mini hatchet.
regarding the Bushbox. recommend to get an extra set of trivets, four can be attached to the stove when folded down. you can also use them as handles to move the Box around when it's hot! also get an extra grill plate, and a universal one too, come in really handy for building fire when attached to the front for feeding the fire and as well for actually cooking, using different fuel types etc! Oh! also the "Multifunctional Case" it's more money, but so damned useful as a base, for catching ash, keeping it stable and off wet ground! So. Stove costs 1, extras cost 3x! hahahaha I'm not complaining, love mine, I have XL Ti and LF, but uff! expensive.
I do have a few tent pegs is my bag that know can be used as a makeshift pot stand / grill for the bushbox. The tray dose look quite useful as a stand and storage. Thanks for checking out the video and taking time to comment.
All public and open access woodland. The stags are great to see when they're ready for the rutting this time of year. Thanks for watching. All the best.
@@TheSussexOutdoorsman Essex.. there isn’t really places like the stag roaming wild south down, but we do have Epping forest which is pretty wild with roaming serial killers to look out for..lol 😂😂😂
This hatchet can cut nail and coin without chipping the blade. Maybe because of it's thick blade. I got mine last week. the only complain is the blade is a little bit off center
Ahhh we love watching them! Thanks for the Shout out! Keep them coming! ♥️
You're very welcome. Hope everyone is okay. Would be good to have a catch up sometime soon. X
good equipment and tools

I took it out last week and used it for slitting and it did really well for its size. Much better then i showed just chopping sticks in the video.

Mine is a little off as well. But even my GFB is not perfect. Really great little hatchet that can chop some good size logs.
When’s your next video coming out, I am your number 1 fan you know☺️
Glad you're enjoying the content. Hopefully get chance to get out and do a film over the next couple of weeks.
@@TheSussexOutdoorsman looking forward to seeing the beautiful South Downs again….Enjoy my man👍
