A lot of raw test footage was shot for the Iconic Cantina scene in Star Wars. This video shows a few of the original aliens that didn’t make it into the final cut, as well as Han Solo’s girlfriend “Jenny”.
George Lucas played with a couple of variations to the scene with Walrus man (Ponda Baba) and Ben Kenobi, the other more well known version shows his dismembered arm (with a flipper). The beheading was deemed too severe as it would give Luke a bad impression of Ben.

With the background noise "on" you can clearly hear it's filmed in England ! When luke walks in and says "What?"..it s more like he did not understand the cokney accent when walking into a local pub 😅.....and Greedo speeking English !! This is priceless ! Really interesting insight into the making of a classic film!

The fact I've drunk in pubs that make this place look like a creche aside (One in Brighton had blood all up one wall and across the pool table - nobody noticed or cared) this is simply perfect; Rick's Cafe in Casablanca (Obviously) but IN SPACE!!! and the best bits of the film, for me, were always on Tattooine. When we went to Tunisia on Holidays I went to the locations, quite an experience! (As was meeting Colonel Gadaafi and his 'twitchy fingered' bodyguards...)
