Well, if you don't wanna horrible execution, don't hurt other people
Don't murder other people.
Exactly.
Common sense is a hard thing to come by these days 🤡
Sounds Horrific but he Stole a Life for no reason and money. Imagine that lady executed by him many moons ago, hopefully she DID NOT SUFFER!
not every person who gets the death penalty is guilty some are exonerated so can you please explain how this barbaric execution is in any way civilized?
Not even close to what his victim suffered.
And how do you know that
Oh a first hand witness are you?
@@youwish378She was badly beaten with a fireplace poker and stabbed. She fought hard to fight back. She was tortured. Her husband paid $1000 to have her unalived. You can look up the details of the case.
@@SassyShay7You can look up the details. It’s not a difficult task to read about the case. Her murder was brutal.

It's called karma. Don't kill people, and you won't go through a horrible death. Not that hard of a concept, really.
There is no such thing as Karma or luck
@Nice-ck7rq yeah. Bad things happen to good people BECAUSE Karma isn't a thing. Karma implies you deserved what happened to you in life, good or bad.
Two wrongs don’t make a right though.
Oh god give me a break.
What about the woman who was repeatedly stabbed.
100 %
As a retired police officer. Who has seen enough violence and victims left in the wake of these monsters. I don’t feel an ounce sympathy for him. He not only murdered an innocent woman. He left her entire family devastated. Can you imagine what Elizabeth Dorlene Sennett was going through as they stabbed her? Do you think she didn’t suffer? Her two children have to live without their mother. I hope he is rotting in hell
Utube exposes what you men & women in law enforcement see and deal with physically & mentally-What has been seen cannot be unseen- ✊🏼
I bet she was praying her husband was alive and okay, so sleep lost here!
👏👍👏
I understand as a retired police officer you’ve seen a lot of BS. I mean crime that would most likely turn people’s stomach and think how could anyone do this to another human being. Now I’m all for capital punishment. But, I believe it should be quick and as painless as can be. I say that because God will pronounce judgement on everyone. And what he can do is much worse than anything we could ever imagine. You have a right to think or feel anyway you wish. All I’m saying is if you believe in God. Have a little mercy in your heart. Because, if you have mercy in your heart. Then God will show mercy towards you. God bless you sir and thank you for serving as a police officer.
What is going on ?
This shouldn't be a controversial issue in the news.
BTW, I agree with the OPs statement, in case there's any confusion.
I wonder what his innocent victim felt when she was being stabbed to death by him?
@@byt4fse2 You first

Wait a minute. He went through 22 minutes of horror. What about the victim's family? What about the victim? What about all these years of suffering they have endured? He didn't have a problem murdering a woman. Why would we give him sympathy now?
Exactly.
He briefly addressed the victim and family in the beginning. Very briefly.
Amen
All the while he was being executed he was dying.
"Why would we give him sympathy now?"
Probably because the news media believes they need to take people's attention away from other issues.
I don't feel sorry for him after hearing what he ordered done to that women.
We seem to care how this guy suffered in death but not the victim. I’m just sorry people had to witness this because it sounds horrifying.

22 minutes of horror?! I wonder how long his victim sustained horror.
This person beat and stabbed a woman. WTF do you expect??? No sympathy.
Jeff Hood is a DOPE. What Kenneth went through is NOTHING compared to what his VICTIM went through. Absolutely INSULTING 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Alright Hammurabi
And how do you know that
Jeff hood witnessed a guy being executed..he is allowed his own trauma.
So? Wasnt he convicted for murder? I feel no empathy.
He was put to death, its not ment to be pleasant... I don't feel bad for him... Here is a thought, don't do something to land yourself in jail, or on death row... I bet his victim wasn't given any rights...
His victim is lonnnngggg gone. 1988 is tofal history. He did 35 yearx of straight time. That would qualify him for release in a blue state. STFU
I just don't understand why everyone is so worried that this guy dying the way he did, when he did what he did. Did they lady he killed die peaceful?
Do you realize that he served 35 years of straight time. In Blue States that would qualify him for release
@user-lk7oy8hp2u well I'm sure glad he wasn't released
Now explain how his victim died & suffered! Seriously you gave this guy a platform?
emm the inmate was upset because HE KNEW he was going to die. He did not suffer- he simply passed out.
Wrong, this form of execution is basically poisoning every cell in the body slowly, whether he was wrong or not the govt is bragging its painless and its not thats the point.we know he did wrong already..he basically died like the jews in death camps except that gas used killed very fast this took almost 1/2 hr..well he been judged so 😳 😕 😅
I'm not a "spiritual advisor" but if i were to guess, any spirits attending the execution did not take any of his advice. Likely K.Eugene Smiths passing over had a greeting that was predetermined based on the choices that got him there.
I don't know if we listened to the same interview but he stated first and all that he was not innocent and that his heart went out to the victims family
Down South…. We call them preachers or ministers 🤷🏻♂️
How long did his victim take to die ??? How long has his victims suffered ?
He was found guilty of murder. Why would we make it so peaceful for him?
It is not difficult to avoid death. It is much more difficult to avoid wickedness, for it runs faster than death. - Socrates

Yep. Not super impressed with the channel right now. 😠🙄
The victim died in 1988, it is ancient history
Two wrongs make a right though?
When the death penalty is applied to a murder suspect and found guilty there are several criteria it has to meet or you can't impost the death penalty and no doubt his victim or victims suffered horrific deaths. So no matter what happened to him is nothing compared to what they endured. You do not even have to know the facts to know there were plenty facts to support seeking the death penalty. So his spiritual advisor needs to pray for the loss of the lives of the victim.
who gets charged if they get it wrong? maybe they got it right this time. you're whole point is a life for a life right? so if judge, da and jury get it wrong shouldnt they be put to death? thats an eye for eye.
Victims. Her poor kids are still suffering. They lost their mother. Then the dad paid them to murder her. He committed suicide, so they lost both parents in a short span. I hope they are at peace
The conviction behind the guilty verdict would mean the intention was not for the penalty to be delivered against someone who was innocent and that at worst the reaching of the guilty verdict was somehow reckless as opposed to malicious (unless you have reason to believe guilty verdicts are being read out maliciously) which means if the conviction were wrong the imposing of the penalty would not be equivalent to the crime in the first degree if you are equating the penalty with the crime in the first degree; is capital punishment imposed for the crime in the second degree?
How did his 22 minutes of justified punishment compare to his victim and her families?
Why have sympathy with the murderer? He found out what is like to slowly die. He felt the fear Elizabeth Sennett felt when struggling to live. Kenneth Smith first stabbed and then beat Elizabeth Sennett with a fireplace implement. "“She fought it and she fought hard,” said Ronnie May, who was chief investigator with the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office at the time. “It was horrific to me.”
“You feel for the victim and what they went through - and the horror she went through in her last minutes,” May said."
I am against capital punishment but especially when the person is made to suffer so much. He was a murderer but we should not be like him. Causing him to suffer is stooping down to his level.
It was very likely horrific for others to have watched, but what about the victim and her family/friends and what they went through?
Hell is worse.
Have you been there because if you haven't then you're full of 💩
He’s there now. No turning back unless he got right with God. Only God knows that!✝️
@@Morningstar0092 You are right...Only The Lord knows...
Everyone wants to talk about how the convict suffered during his death (which was sentenced) , what about the innocent victim that he tortured and killed???!!!! He sentened her to death, so it's only fair that he be given the same sentence. So what if he struggled a liittle bit, his victim fought and struggled so much more!!!!
I don't know what to say. The electric chair was pretty horiffic too.
My exact thought…Old Sparky!

Sounds like the movie Law Abiding Citizen. Definitely not painless like it should have been but beggers can't be choosers. And I can't belive they had everyone sign non disclosure agreements, so I am surprised that he said as much as he did.
Dont feel sorry, time to toughen up as a nation, otherwise the animals will take over.
or maybe youre the animal that has no awareness
Ok and? I wonder what his victim felt in the last moments of their life
He’s describing the death like it would gain sympathy. I only sympathize for the victim
JUSTICE has been served.
Wait - was he not the evil ….. he is not the victim.
I thought he asked for this method. His victim wasn't granted any options.
Let's ignore the Actual victim (Elizabeth Sennett) altogether to talk about your butthurt feelings 🤣
Oh...darn...but.....how are we trying to humanize a monster?
Guys, the point is that we're supposed to be better than the murderers, not become one of them and join in their bloodlust. Thinking everyone who does this kind of thing is just a "monster" is a lazy way of thinking. In the 1980's my aunt and her boyfriend were murdered by two serial killers. You would think I would wanted these two men put to death, but learning their own story made me feel a lot of empathy toward them. These brothers were raised in a household where their father forced them to rape their sisters or were beaten if they didn't. I can only imagine the horrors they suffered that would eventually turn them into the killers they became. In mind, they don't need the death penalty, they need help. They are clearly very broken people, but that doesn't mean they deserve to die. I wonder that whenever I read or see stories about murderers now. What did they go through that made them into that? How did they get broken so bad?
wrong...wrong...
for a country founded on theft and genocide
this is why government is important...
you need punishment..
USA is a vassal to world law and WEF for this reason too
The English philosopher Thomas Hobbes (1588-1679) argued in his book Leviathan that, without government, life would be “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.
Hobbes, like Machiavelli, had a low view of human beings.
We are all basically selfish, driven by fear of death and the hope of personal gain, he believed.
All of us seek power over others, whether we realize this or not.
If you don’t accept Hobbes’ picture of humanity,
why do you lock the door when you leave your house?
Surely it’s because you know that there are many people out there who would happily steal everything you own?
But, you might argue, only some people are that selfish.
Hobbes disagreed.
He thought that at heart we all are,
and that it is only the rule of law and the threat of punishment that keep us in check.
The consequence of this, he argued, was that if society broke down and you had to live in what he called ‘a state of nature’, without laws or anyone with the power to back them up, you, like everyone else, would steal and murder when necessary.
At least, you’d have to do that if you wanted to carry on living.
In a world of scarce resources, particularly if you were struggling to find food and water to survive, it could actually be rational to kill other people before they killed you.
In Hobbes’ memorable description, life outside society would be ‘solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short’.’
censorship is why this is allowed to happen too..
it is selective...
I respect your opinion but I feel if victims families want death it's their right. Condolences....not trying to cause trouble
Jeffrey Dahmer wasn't abused, he was raised by decent parents and had a normal childhood, yet look what he did to people. Not all killers are "broken", some people are just born evil
I agree with you but it looks like we are in the minority. I am in no way condoning the actions of murderers but aren’t we supposed to be above these animals ?? My condolences to the victim’s family but this is not right imo. (And yes, I’ve had someone in my life murdered-when I was 10 and she was 13, my best friend’s sister. She was raped, tortured and found in a duffel bag by a jogger-they think he was a serial killer but he was never caught.)
It destroyed everyone around her, including me but I still don’t understand the death penalty.
I wonder how many seconds or minutes his victim sufferred???????! I know his victims family have suffered for 17 years!!!!!
The body needs oxygen. There is no way Hood lasted 22 minutes breathing only nitrogen gas. Either the spirtual advisor is lying or the mask was not airtight and just enough oxygen got through to sustain him enough to cause suffocation panic. Is this person the only one who described the execution in this way?
Wait we care because 🤦🏽♂️thoughts and prayers with the victims 💯

As the great Antonin Scalia said "It's not surgery. BTW, I don't know why they don't put this on pay-per-view and give the proceeds to the victim's family.

@@youwish378 Murder and killing are not the same thing. The Army kills a lot. So does the Air Force. Murder is a crime. Defending yourself by killing a murderer is not.
Maybe the inmate shouldn’t have gotten himself into that situation to begin with. He has nobody to blame but himself. He got treated way better than he treated the lady and her family. They got the life sentence. Rip dear lady ❤
The trauma of this witness has now become the subject, its a choice he made several times as he has stated, don't witness this penalty if your not prepared to accept it in its entirety.
Her son said by no means are they happy & celebrating bc thats not who they are. It has been a long time coming & they're just glad its over. Pointing out he had been on death row twice as long as they knew their mother & the debt of his actions was finally paid tonight at the press conference.

I would've said a lot about this however this man makes the same argument that people who never had a loved one taken away from them in a violent manner! It's not much but her family knows he's gone too and if he suffered so be it!!!

Sounds like a proper end to a capital offense. People have gone so damn soft!
Boo hoo
Would have been brain dead after 4 minutes without oxygen. Don’t know how you get 22 minutes.
Bro I can hold my breath for over 4 minutes
Thats complete bullshit. I was not breathing for almost 8 minutes. I to was having seizures while I couldn't breath. I woke up to them getting ready to shock my heart. I have no brain damage from that time whatsoever.
I’m sure his victims feel real bad about his suffering- Get what you give & Karmas never kind! 😎
Elizabeth Dorlene Sennett "The coroner testified that Sennett was stabbed "eight times in the chest and once on each side of the neck, and had suffered numerous abrasions and cuts." Good riddance (to bad rubbish) Kenneth Eugene Smith."
The only people I feel bad for are those that were distressed and who had to administer the drug/gas. It can’t be easy to have to do that as part of your job. I also have so much empathy for the victim and their family. This man made a choice and inflicted nothing but pain so who cares.
How many minutes did the victim suffer. How many years have her family suffered.
Many of us forget that criminals are watching and listening to these stories. They need to know just how awful the death penalty is. It would be a huge mistake to back down and remove the death penalty.
I heard the opposite. The reason he was shaking is he tried to hold his breath and tried not to breath in the gas. Other people said it went off without a hitch!!
"horror" huh? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
You'd have to poke me in the eye to make a tear, for this guy, especially imagining the terror that poor Woman went through, fighting for her life. People forget about the victim, or can't put themselves in their shoes, because in our cj system, when a victim dies, they have no rights. Gross!
Gee my heart breaks ….for the victim.
For his Last Supper, Smith was served steak with A.1. sauce, hash browns and eggs. Before that, he was served a breakfast meal that consisted of two biscuits, eggs, grape jelly, applesauce and orange juice. Sounds like he bit off more than he could chew🤣

What does a murder or an execution that is "not horrific" look like? Is there a murder or exectiin that is not horrific? Truth is you dont receive the one without having done the other.
He didn't care about the woman that he killed and her children and family. I dont feel bad. I am sorry.
Let's talk NOW about the horror that this man CAUSED.
And now he is in hell… mission accomplished…no empathy for this man he was allowed to live for 30 years… his victim did not!

So he suffered , similar to the woman he murdered.
The only diffrence is many ppl witnessed his suffering! Who was there to witness her suffering?
I imagine witnessing the suffering of another to be traumatic. !
That man was the only one to witness to the suffering of the victim ?
I do wonder if this man would feel any different had he bore witness to the suffering of the women that man murdered as she lay dying?

Why are they trying to make him a victim because of a death He asked for? I get wanting to know for future understanding. However its what He asked for so Ashes to Ashes..
I knew it wasn't going to go right.
Well I guess criminals will think twice before committing a crime
People forget, the witnesses, and the prison guards, are the ones that have to watch and “participate “ in his execution. No one ever thinks of them.
Did he choose that method? Did he know which method they were going to use?
You have to be careful what you say on youtube or they block you. yesterday I watched a vid of a woman taking scizzors and scratching the heck out of a womans car that she didnt know and all I said was they need to find he before she uses the scizzors on a person and they blocked me for 24 hrs for bullying..Godd is evil and evil is good now

Bleeding heart liberals don't seem to care about the horror his victim endured.
Falling on mostly deaf ears, actions have consequences.
oh man that sucks, I can't believe he was uncomfortable for a bit :(
My heart was punctured - just punctured - not stabbed repeatedly like this guy’s innocent victim’s was. Do you know the sheer AGONY of feeling your blood escape your heart and run through your thoracic cavity and drain from your brain? It's not just localized pain - it is a piercing, unforgiving AGONY that totally engulfs your entire being!!! When Christ died on the cross, it was not the nails through His hands and feet, but the ruptured, torn heart that physically did Him in - that was the unspeakable horror and agony He felt. Unbearable! People who have not experienced a shot or stab to the heart, have no idea what torture is possible (gang members - be compassionate instead of being so quick and cocky to shoot or stab your rivals without thought of what they are going through and what you, yourself, will go through if you keep up stupid behavior). And it lasts a very, VERY long time, long after your body has stopped responding to stimuli. Happily, I lived to tell the tale, but it took two years of recovery. What this evil man did to this innocent woman - her horrific and terrifying ordeal lasted far more than 22 minutes. And, unlike him, she didn’t deserve it - so the fake compassion and sadness of the media or the guy’s ``spiritual leader`` can stuff their hypocrisy in the toilet where it belongs. I’m just glad Mr. Murderer got a small taste of what he worked so hard to dish out. I only hope that, in those few minutes he had left, that he repented from the depths of his soul for what he did to her. Eternity is a very long time to be arrogant and unrepentant.
Does anyone know why they chose this method of execution versus the more traditional methods?
Shortages of leathal injection stuffs.
Could have maybe gotten firing squad.
Not mark btw.
He is so correct. I live in AL. and policy and procedures are a NO in the prisons. We need HELP
Can he describe also the horror, and pain his victim felt.......
Well let's go into detail of his victim's death since the guy likes to talk and go in details about the murders death maybe he needs details about the victim maybe he will have an ounce of compassion and feel the justice is done
Awwwww, the poor convicted murderer died in a comfy Gurnee while wearing a mask.
What about his victim and family?
That’s a lie . There’s no way a person could survive that long without oxygen. Maybe someone prolonged it on purpose.
