Basing this question on 100 shares. Sell the shares. Get 7500. Buy 4 of the June 2025 $75 calls for 1600 each. Because the delta is .65 I will get 2.6 times what I would get if I just hold the stock. Assumptions. The stock will be worth over 100 because of 2 more banging earnings releases. Question. Would selling a spread net more because although the spread limits my upside I get to buy more than 4 calls per 100 shares sold. Comments needed.

Leaps are calls with very long expiration dates giving you the opportunity of time for your call to enter "ITM".

You need the cash collateral equal to 100 shares of the stock at the given strike price.
If a stock is $5 and you want to sell a $4 put option you would need $400 (100 shares x $4) to cover in the case that you do get assigned

Basing this question on 100 shares. Sell the shares. Get 7500. Buy 4 of the June 2025 $75 calls for 1600 each. Because the delta is .65 I will get 2.6 times what I would get if I just hold the stock. Assumptions. The stock will be worth over 100 because of 2 more banging earnings releases. Question. Would selling a spread net more because although the spread limits my upside I get to buy more than 4 calls per 100 shares sold. Comments needed.
