Here's an alternative way to set up a shortcut to Programs and Features for Windows 10. Click the Start button. Click Settings. Right click on Apps and select Pin to Start. A shortcut to Apps & Features will now appear on the start menu; it will be labeled Apps. Granted, Apps & Features is not quite the same as Programs and Features. But Apps & Features does have a link to Programs and Features, located on the upper right of the page under Related settings. So, once the Apps shortcut is set up, going forward you can simply open the start menu, select the Apps shortcut, and finally select Programs and Features if desired.
Or..create a shortcut to appwiz.cpl (just right click on desktop/New/Shortcut copy/paste C:\Windows\System32\appwiz.cpl and name it) Place it in the hidden folder C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs. Open start, scroll down until you find the name, right click, pin to start menu. Or leave it on desktop:)
just type appwiz.cpl in run (windows+R) option and you'll get it right away.
