I once met the Keyboarder ("Flake") in real life in a music store like some 20 years ago. To be honest I didn't realize who he was, I just heard him plaiyng a Rammstein song on the keyboard. I recognized the song, and asked him if that was the melody of "Engel", which was a great hit in Germany. "Yes" he replied, "I am a fan of Rammstein. I can play all their songs!". So we chatted a minute or so about other Rammstein stuff, and said goodbye with "maybe see you on a Rammstein concert some day!". When leaving the store my friend said to me: "The store owner said some guy from Rammstein is here in the store, have you seen one?" *facepalm to myself*

Flake thinks like that because he feels that the members do a better job than him, but let's face it rammstein wouldn't be the same or even if it sounds ugly it wouldn't be anything without Flake gives it an incredible, extravagant and weird touch at the same time but that makes it like a lot.

I read somewhere that those wings weigh around 100 pounds. Just imagine singing and performing on stage with 100 pounds of weight strapped on you. Till Lindemann the lead singer is just a total beast.

I was up close in Atlanta on this tour. It was the most insane show I've seen. Apologies to Black Sabbath, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie, Amon Amarth, Rotting Christ, Turisas, U2, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison, Cheap Trick, Foreigner, The Righteous Brothers, Godsmack, Cirque du Soliel, Hatebreed, Mushroomhead, In Flames, Alice Cooper, etc. You name it I've seen it. They KILLED IT!
There is Heilung, who are as insane, but in a different way.
There are many bands I'd love to see for their music, but I'd love to see Rammstein for their SHOW. It's not even my kind of music, but it must be a pretty unique experience.
I've seen Rammstein in 2019 in Rotterdam, a performance never to be forgotten.

at wacken (biggest metal festival in the world) there is a saying that you can't go to sleep during rammstein. like even if you don't like their music, their lightshow and pyro will prevent you from going to sleep while they are on stage.

Bro, I saw Rammstein when I was stationed in Italy. They played the Verona coliseum. It was 100% insane forever!

Best band I’ve ever seen live.
Rammstein is good for english speakers, when you listen to their songs as a native german speaker it takes on a whole different dimension. Their songs are filled with double meanings and generally just SAVAGE lyrics. Savage isn't even the right word. I mean explosively savage. There's a reason why my wife refused to even listen to any of their songs, she said it's just waaaay too sick.
But the Bühnensprach sounds here, not the ordinary speech. The same in most of Rammstein' songs.
In ordinary speech, the Germans speak as if they have porridge in their mouth (pardonne-moi).
I'm native mayan, from Guatemla.... we love them here and we see them in Mexico city.. the best shows ever. look how we adore ramstein over here. we know some german but we love their musik and everything.

I had tickets to see them live this fall then COVID happened. Can't wait to see them live.
My tickets for 2022 are in. 3th time full concert of Rammstein. Yes yes greets jacco from Holland
They also had an other version of this Angle wings. If your interestet you could watch Rammstein - Engel (Hurricane Festival 2016). This show was in Germany and their first concert in Germany after a longer pause. I was there and it was incrediable.

Fueur Frei and Mein Teil will both blow your minds, this is Rammstein at 8/10, those two songs are them at 12/10
They are in a league all by themselves when it comes to performance. I have seen then 9 times live in Denmark and they never fail to amaze. I suggest you to react to Rammvier from Berlin 2017.

The leader of the band is the Keyboard player. They have always used fire in live shows in many ways. Even catching band members on fire as the singer also did get hurt a few times when it goes wrong. Early ELO live was something else too also the bomber tour of Motor Head.

All members of the band have a minor pyrotechnician license, only Till has a major pyro license.
So they all know at least the most important safety features, as well as quite a lot about the application of pyro effects themselves.
4:15 Suzi is refering to Christian or aka "Flake",he is walking the treadmill at concerts while dancing and playing. And he got a bad reputation with getting himself in trouble with Till on stage.

Flake uses the treadmill because he gets bored. He gets out an walks in every city they go to, it's like meditation for him. In some of the later Euro shows, Till was actually lifted off the stage with the wings. He's always kept in good shape, growing up swimming competitively, so the 100lb plus wings are....fairly easy for him.
I also enjoyed their performance of ich tu dir weh from that same concert as well.
