Aquascape Tutorial: RARE GUPPY TANK Natural Style (How To Step By Step Guide)

I really wanted to make a natural style habitat for these awesome looking guppy fish. I'd never seen them before so for me at least, they are rare. I love the look of the simple scape which although simple now, should evolve really nicely over time. Lot's of trimming and replanting should have the aquascape looking thicc and dense in no time and hopefully the hairgrass creeps everywhere!

@MD Fish Tanks I thoroughly enjoy continuing to watch your videos.
One potential thing that would possibly make fish happier: feed fish before introducing new fish, and then turn the lights off to reduce the risk of new fish being mistaken as food.

MD @ 23:25 there's no foam pre-filter on the uplift tube. How are you going to keep guppy fry out of the filter?
MD last week “I’m going for more simple setups not as many plants. Because maintenance on all my tanks are crazy. The plants overgrown and can’t enjoy the fish” Today, simple setup and 50 plants in the corner🤣🤣🤣🤣 Still looks awesome.
Trust me, this is crazy simple and easy to maintain (no pearl weed or moss lol)

I always end up using my hands when planting stems these days
My tank is too deep to use hand for planting. But I would if I could.
🤣🤣 Most of the time, I've lost my tools and find them as soon as I've finished making a video lol
I'm still getting use to planting with the tools, half the time I do revert back to hands, less of a pain

I absolutely love your videos. You are fun to watch and listen to and i get a lot of good information and ideas.
Great combination. The arrangement is a typical of flower arrangements as most tank set ups are. The basic triangle etc but the trick to me and I’m sure yourself is the fish that links it all together. Spot on about to much red as the fish bring that into the mix, stunning.

Love it! So simple. Love the colors. I probably would do without a filter with that many plants you really don’t need one. Maybe a simple air stone.

I actually just bought 5 male of those same swordtail guppies 5 days ago. They are beautiful! And very sexually active too. They're so persistently chasing after all the much larger female guppies (pregnant or not) despite their smaller size. They're so cute to watch!

white sand definitely has its place in a naturalistic scape, a combo of the fine white sand on top of the coarser sand wud look great!!
I went to the hardware store looking for "glass frost" and was told it isn't called that. Privacy film is what you call it here in the states. Great video
