Agree with everything you said Ray. He's a no defense playing complementary piece. Ain't no way they believe he's gon work harder to improve the trillion parts of his game he needs to work on. He'll get complacent after being paid. Hoping they do a sign and trade or pay him less.
I hope he works on his game. He's got to turn into a go to guy. I don't know if they bring sweet Lou back. Sharife Cooper passes the ball better and at this point he's a faster player.

So he earned 24-30 mil NOT playing up to his potential? Shouldn't get more 20 per. Not even the third best player on the team. Gon cut out someone more deserving.
@@shonuf5152 we know that he could have played better than what he did and I’m not saying that he just fell and he got a good deal but I knew he didn’t play well enough to get a max deal and that’s all I was saying.
@@wallacesmith7852 Gotcha. I think he get no more than 20-22. Watching Dennis Scott and Sam Mitchell on NBA TV trippin bout the Hawks need to pay him and they disrespecting him. Mgmt tryin to get a deal done but we all know he ain't worth 25 to 30. Plus other guys are due who are better.
And I think with the signing of Wright from the trade and drafting Sharife I don’t think we will bring Lou back but I could be wrong.
You might be right but Sharife has to transition his game to the next level, I think he'll be worked in slowly, Williams is a combo guard so I could see him on the court with Cooper. It would be an interesting move to say the least
Lebron might get Lou to come to the Lakers. Just my opinion.
@@Smittyssportsmachine yeah it’s not going to take Sharife long to transition to the NBA bc he has everything and he keeps working on his deep shot from the 3 to be a little more consistent he’ll be fine.

Unless that money makes Collins a double-double guy with 20+ and 10+ and an elite defender, they shouldn't do it. At all.

John is versatile and can play the 5 but that’s not his main role.

@@Tadaia John is more like a 3 in skillset. Okongwu is more of a 4 because of his inside presence.
I feel like the Hawks are always drafting forwards every year and then signing FA forwards.

@@shonuf5152 I think we can let Huerter go. Too many flaws to his game. I'm not so sure about Cam right now. I mean... They tried to trade him before the draft. 😂
We need consistency all around. We're only getting consistency from Trae and Clint and they're the ones that hold it down. When they're not playing, it's like watching a bunch of forwards play and none of them can take over the game.
@@TheLegendaryFolklore One thing about Huerter, you can see constant progress and evidence he's working. Definitely has improved as a secondary ball handler.

facts, money should be used for cam and hunter. star players rise to the occasion in the playoffs, they put the team on their back when the superstar goes down, He did not do that. He does have star potential if he is willing to put in the work an work on his ballhandling and his post game but that remains to be seen

And them $20 should be able to maintain Dave a fresh haircut, something to eat while we out who's only going to get better with this young talented Atlanta Hawks team. I know this got nothing to do with this topic we need to go after Hasan Whiteside a rim protector, defensive player with great upside so next time we face the bucks and other teams with size will be ready. And I know a player like Young will feed him alleys to get Hasan playing like the old Hasan when he was with the Miami Heat. Dwayne Wade made Hasan special that's why I know Young will put that energy back in Hasan that will be scary for the whole entire NBA. Saying just throwing that out there!!!!
