I love your use of Christopher Eccleston's clips. I don't think enough people give him credit, he took a chance being the first in the DW revival and his portrayal really opened up doors for further exploration into the depth of the Doctor's character. Before 12's scottish acerbic wit at the end of the universe and 11's speeches to giant malevolent stars, and 10's rage against the laws of time, there was 9 and his seemingly innocent last meal conversation with Blon Fel-Fotch. He said "that's how you slaughter millions. Because once in a while on a whim, if the winds in the right direct, you happen to be kind." It was loosely perceived about judging her, but it was written and played so reserved and clear that you knew from the first moment he was absolutely about himself at it was like being struck by lightening. You highlighted that, and tied it all together with all the incarnations so seamlessly. What a thing to behold!
This made me cry: he's constantly struggling and sometimes he just lets go. Then he suffers even more for the consquences.
Oh my, I stopped breathing again. This music is so powerful and the scenes you chose are more than fantastic. We, Whovians, know that the Doctor is actually good but has his own weaknesses and companions help him to be a better man. Someone who hasn't seen "Doctor Who" may think that the Doctor is evil just because of this video. You captured the dark part of the Doctor so well. Actually, I believe that this dark part makes him more human because it proves that he isn't perfect and people aren't perfect, right? I love everything here and your editing skills are wonderful. Thank you!
You're absolutely right; the doctor is not perfect he can't always be good, but this is why he has companions because like Donna said :"Sometimes I think you need someone to stop you."

This is so powerful! It exactly shows his struggle. He can't be a god, he can't have the power to decide who is wrong and who is right. He needs to be more than that, always gives people a second chance. Everyone. Everytime. Again and again. But if it's wrong, if it doesn't go like planned. People suffer. People he cares about. People die. So he needs to suffer. he needs to be the one that makes the sacrifices because he thinks himself responsible. He doesn't think himself a god. He is something that we world would be better off without. But the world needs him. The universe needs a saviour, and he can't do that. He can't be that saviour. He can't be a god. He's just a boy with a box, on an adventure that never ends, running from all responsibility, hoping it won't catch up. Knowing it one day will, and fearing that day. He is peter pan and his Wendy has left.
Great video. But I wished you didn't cut off the Doctor's speech before the "Not on my watch!" part.

wow. You caught the essence of moral dilemma in this show and I'm trurly speechless now. The Doctor is such a complex, morally grey-ish character and somehow you showed it throught his regenerations. Wow.
