The fact that the greatest high gain amp of all time was made by Germans and is literally called GAS STATION brings me immense pleasure as well as a few chuckles. Well done.
I LOVE Diezel amps....I come to have them as my absolute FAVORITE amp maker! I'm looking to buy my third one now. I do own lots of amps from Engl, EVH, Friedman, Mesa, but my Diezels are the best! D-moll is my main workhorse at the moment! I'm doing my research to see which Diezel amp I will hunt down next! If Mr. Diezel sees this THANK YOU for making/designing/inventing my perfect amp, and Happy 2023!
Only thing I'd like to have is a small midi footswitch to store say just 5 patches. I am currently using a ENGL Z-9 as my footswitch for my D-Moll since the Midi lets me store with one button effects loop on/off, channel, midcut setting, and Master 1/2. If Diezel made a switcher simular to the Z-9 in size...I'd be all over it.
I'm a very proud owner of a Diezel Herbert. The customer friendly combination of Diezel and Stapfer is amazing. They love to provide you with amazing tones. And they deliver like a freight train. These amps comes highly recommended. I would buy all of them if I only could.
I've owned a D-Moll and VH4; both amazing amps. I hope to get a Hagen one day soon, which will stay with me forever. No matter what Diezel you get, they all have that unmistakable roar like no other amp. Great job on these videos guys.
@@incitatus634 Hello and sorry for my late response! VH4 is the tightest, but which one is best for modern metal depends a good deal on what kind of sound the player is looking for. You really do have to try them yourself to determine which one you like the most, but you can't go wrong with any of them because they're all versatile ass kickers.
The Hagen is a great amp, no doubt, but personally I prefer the VH4. I bought both amps almost at the same time and after a year of playing them side by side I decided to sell the Hagen and keep the VH4. I sure miss the functionality of the Hagen. The second master is a godsend. Also I think the Hagen is the better looking of the two (mine had white tolex with white knobs on a black faceplate - stunning). If there was no VH4 I would gladly play the Hagen and be absolutely happy with it. But the sound of the VH4 is just special. Well, it may have something to do with mine having KT88's in it when I first got it - the tightest bass of any amp I have ever played! I have re-tubed it with NOS Genalex KT77's since then and it's not quite the same but still tighter than the Hagen. I know Peter said he doesn't want to make a VH4 MKII but I would totally buy it if it had a second master knob. Basically either stick a second master control on a VH4 or somehow jam the sound of the VH4 channel 3 into the Hagen (and also add external tube bias controls) and you've got a perfect amp! :) Again, the above is strictly a personal opinion - I don't mean to dissuade anyone from buying a Hagen - it is absolutely a beast of an amp and certainly deserves your consideration. But the VH4 though...
Aside from not knowing how to do that, I don't really want to mess with the amp. Although I do think I might have to mod it to have separate bias controls for each tube (I use old stock tubes, which are difficult to find in matched sets at affordable prices), and if I do find someone to do that I might as well see if I can get a second master control. Of course, then I have to figure out how to control the loop volume - I use my Soldano reverb in it. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
Shmalentine Okay.. But it's easy as connect send and return of parallel loop with a short guitar cable, no mods required. Parallel loop volume (i.e. 2nd master) can be then activated by pushing Send2 button (or via MIDI if you prefer)
i have owned so many amps then diezel was the very best never breaks down on me and delivers any sound I could ever want, just the best as far as quality, nothing but the best of the best, and the transformers are huge, what made the neve 1073 for a mike preamp custom transformer diezel had not just a deep powerful sound but with the attack of a shark fast and sustain forever, I have never looked at another brand since, I use Royer mikes for the bottom end and sure sm57 with API and Neve and SSL mike preamps also the new Camden 500 mike preamp with thump and cream, with the Cranbourne adat you can run one preamp into another like a signal chain, , creativity lives in the mind and the recreation come out of a diezel amp with ease, keep up the great work, they make the world is a better place to live in, with diezel amps
@@jaychen2000metal but I think 100 watt amps still sound cooler at low volumes . They still sound bigger . It’s an acquired taste of playing 100 watts a lot . They just have something no amp can do even quiet

I love the way you guys demonstrate these amps, keep it up!
Der Hagen ist der beste Verstärker überhaupt.🤘
It's crazy how well this amp cleans up even with so much gain!
Absolut super!!!
Diezel really dimed it in superbly, best high gain sound to use with delay or echo
Awesome video content guys the effort put into these really shows!! Nice work!!!! :D
Will receive my Hagen today at around 10:30am I just couldn't sleep
For me the Hagen is the best Diezel 🎉
Sehr sympathische Demonstration eines tollen Verstärkers. Weiter so ;)
Love my Hagen

Why don't you put a jumper in the parallel loop of the VH4 and use the loop volume as second master?
Aside from not knowing how to do that, I don't really want to mess with the amp. Yes, this is described by Diezel how to have 2nd master on VH4.
RockSiffredi (sorry, missed your reply). Yeah, but then I won't be able to use the loop. Which I do need to use.
Fabulous sounding amp. But a new one is on the way too !!
i was looking at the herbert, but something tells me i should buy this!

Sehr Informativ!! Danke
Geiler Sound :-)) ich will rocken...
Should make a 50watt 3 chan to rival the evh iii, around the same price...
Totally agree! Any 50W tube amp is more than enough.
except any diezel just flat out kills an evh iii...and a big part of that is premium components.
