It's tough to say anything about the Shin Burning that hasn't been said in 2015, since it is a minor retool of its root kit. Sure, it has great looks and articulation, a ton of effect parts, and iridescent clear pieces, all of which are valid selling points. At the same time, whether it is different enough from the Kamiki Burning to warrant a separate purchase is really up to you.

I really loved the Kamiki Burning and this seems like a pretty good upgrade. I plan to switch the clear blue pieces if I don't like the iridescence on the newer pieces 😭 and thank heavens I still kept all my flame effect parts neatly. Guess I won't need the instructions to build this one either due to my disassembling the KBG a buncha times.
You've literally experienced Kamiki Sekai's described arc, so I think besides the backpack, you should be able to build this without the instructions
I m hoping for a better oo arc. May we get all good parts and colored correct clear pieces and extra weapons and well a lot of adapters
Doesn't seem like the 00 Diver Arc will come with much besides what's already shown.
@@mj2005gundam I know but I still want to believe and I do hope we will get the right color of clear parts not unlike the 00 diver stand alone kit where the head part was in green and they gave us a sticker for it
The 00 arc does look pretty cool. I'm not a huge fan of all the clear parts, but the base lit looks pretty cool
Your review of this kit is what I've been waiting for! You did confirm that only the v-fin is missing to completely revert it back to Kamiki Burning; which I do not have, so this is definitely a must-buy for me. 😁

Without the backpack would just be the Kamiki Burning Gundam from the front, but I'm glad you like the video

If the backpack was two peg instead slide it probably will get inside my wish list 🗿
Or if there was an adapter to make sliding backpacks universally compatible

But too bad, that kind adapter was more rare than beginning gundam in my country 🗿
Btw in my place beginning gundam is considered as one of rare kit that even if there's someone sell it, the price will be at 3-4 times normal price 🗿
I prefer the punching and kicking effects of the original kamiki but for sure you can use the old effect parts for this anyway

Oh my god it's like if the God Gundam and the Wing Gundam Zero had a child, it's everything the US fan could and would want from a Gundam, sans maybe a Buster Matchlock (?). I knew I had to get the new upgrades for the past MCs from the Build series, but I am putting this one over the rest for top priority

I can understand why. While it isn't something to die for, what you do get is pretty impressive, further improved if you have some dark paint lying around

Wing Burning (I no Kata) Defense Mode/Form reminds me of Master Gundam's Wing Shield in Gundam G.
This HG is combination of God Gundam and Master Gundam with elements of Kamiki Burning Gundam.
The wings are based on the Master Gundam, that's why

do the arms in this ones come of easily? i had the kamiki burning gundam as one of my first kits and that kits arm would pop off everytime i would play with it
The left arm of mine comes off slightly too easily after the review, but none of them would suffer from loose shoulders fresh out the box
I did not know kamiki burning blue part glow under uv light. But for me, the kamiki burning is good enough. If I have more room and money, I will get the kit, but for now, I gonna buy plutine gundam
Yeah, it is definitely not too different from the Kamiki Burning to warrant a solid second purchase. Besides, the selling point doesn't work that well as it is anyway.

Sekai’s Gunpla is the best way to describe as progression. From the original Build Burning all the way till the current Shin Burning…simply put, I love how it evolves gradually, armor and all that fire.
The downside of this one? Its the same as Plutine in Metaverse: they’re both heavily underutilized. =m=
Another downside is how most of its features are only told to us, not shown. It needed room to stretch its legs.

*well them and moreso Meijin (no offense to the guy. I know he’s highly skilled, rightfully so, and a fan favorite…but it doesn’t necessarily mean its all about him =3=)
kinda missing the flame effect that are attached directly to the gundam's body like in try burning gundam... this flame effect is less sharpy and seems not aggressive.. but thank you for some insight in modifying this kit to be more appealing!
Well, the Try Burning has the effects for its Burning Burst System. This guy doesn't even get that privilege. I'm glad you appreciate the insight though.
The armor of this Gundam reminds me of Ronin Warriors a bit. I do like the design.
Ronin Warriors was created by Sunrise who also created Gundam so it can definitely be influenced if not a purposeful reference
They do look somewhat similar based on a quick search
Ngl I remember getting the Sekai Gundam and putting the Wing Zero Hono backpack on it thinking it looked cool and added a red cape. Didn't think my dumb idea years ago would become a thing now 😂😂😂

I would've mentioned that the wings were inspired by a black Gunpla used by a silver-haired, middle-aged man who is related to Sekai's master had that not bloated my word count, because that's literally the lore of the wings

No, the effect parts aren't that interesting. In all honesty, this is more of a novelty item with the polarized resin and whatnot
Bandai really messed up with the clear pieces here. They amazing on the original release but now they're not. They look a little cheap
A bit ambitious but rubbish on their part. The orange in particular looks like they're in a sort of hazy finish
Yeah this definitely looks like something the kid that was trained by Domon from the anime to actually make for the metaverse.... Totally still not mad that at the end of try we don't even get to see the dude's face despite the fact that that was clearly what we were waiting for. Yeah absolutely not but this is definitely a pretty good upgrade to the original though if you don't already have it, it would be best to just wait for the reissue to come out considering that we're in this whole build revival thing. Still I give major props for this thing for pposing and being able to do a good chunk of the g gundam type poses, especially the master gundam ones. Another soild review!

Sekai didn't build this blindfolded, but he did dismantle his Kamiki Burning and rebuild that blindfoldled
Not big fan of build burning variants, but this is nice upgrade. Symbolizing Sekai transition from student to master
If only we got to see him be a master for Rio... I mean, yeah we did, but I want to see more of a training journey instead of the 1-minute fight
