Elvis had everything! The best voice, most charisma, the amazing looks, best smile and contagious laugh, the never-ending charm, the kindness, generosity and care. And NO ONE will ever love their fans the way Elvis did. The King forever ❤
Yes, the first version of this song was done by the Righteous Brothers. Their recording was the most played song on the radio in the 20th century. Elvis' interpretation was totally different. To me, The Righteous Brothers hit a triple and then Elvis stepped up to bat and hit it out of the park.
Oh Depper, or is it Larry? I see you are still using the identity of a dead man. Are you really that pathetic that you have to hide behind some one else's identity? Are you a catfish? Isn't that what is called catfish? Stealing someone else's identity because you are afraid to be you! What sort of coward did your parents raise?
Did you know that for a time Cissy Houston, Whitney's mother, sang with back up with Elvis with the Sweet Inspirations? I saw an interview on TV where Oprah interviewed Cissy, and she showed Cissy some gold bracelets Elvis gave her.
No one had more voices in their arsenal than this man had. He sounded so different at the end of his life than his very young beginning and there is controversy as to when he was best. He could do things in the 50's that he couldn't do later but gained a depth and power later he didn't when he was very young. He could change his voice at will throughout his lifetime. He really was a phenomenon. Vicki
Spot on and you can listen to which version of Elvis suit's your mood and taste not like some artists that sounded the same from day one to the end or present
Hey Travis and Suzy, I am always watching your Elvis reactions, when ELVIS sang a song, it because his song, nobody could put the passion and charisma in a song like ELVIS, he is Pure Magic,,he always said that's a new crowd out there,, we got to do this show like it was our first time,, THOSE people payed good money for this show and we've got to do our very best,, ELVIS could do it all , I know , I saw him 3 times in concert and those were the best days of my life,, I'm really enjoying your Elvis reactions so please keep it up,, would you react to Elvis singing Always on my mind, and I just can't help believen, beautiful music by the one and only Man known simply as ELVIS. The greatest there ever was or will be. What a singer, performer and entertainer - charisma like no other.💕💕 Oh and of course the most handsome and beautiful man to ever walk the earth.
here is the definition of goat Stevie Wonder. 1. a blind man. 2. a black man 3. wrote most of his songs 4. played most instruments. 5. brilliant song writer. 6. 25 Grammys, the most by any solo artist 7. 1 Oscar 8. did I mention he was blind and black? 9. 23 studio albums, three soundtrack albums, Elvis 1. 3 Grammys 2. never wrote a song.
Elvis 'smirked' a lot. I wonder if it was b/c he got a kick out of the reaction(s) he had on women, men, too...the fact he's just enjoying performing or b/c he knew (how could he have not known) he had one of the most beautiful smiles (look at those cheekbones) on the planet. Maybe all of the above.
Hi from Australia. My dad had a ticket for front row to see Elvis in Vegas. He had jet lag when he arrived in the States so he went to bed instead and said he would catch him next time. There was never a next time. My mum never forgave him for not going. 🥲 we had I can Dream playing at Dads funeral ❤️

His drummer said that working for Elvis feels like working for a glorified stripper! Lols! What an amazing performance, this is by far my favorite version of the song!
Bill Medley (of the Righteous Brothers, original artists of Lovin Feeling) & Elvis were good friends. Bill tells of when they were both at the Vegas International, Elvis in the “big room”, Bill in the lounge. One night, as Bill was singing Lovin Feeling, Elvis & about 4 his guys casually strolled across the stage. He punched Bill in the arm, said “Hi Bill” & just kept walking. The crowed went nuts. Bill’s next show was packed, lines waiting to get in, of people hoping to see Elvis. Sure enough, Bill’s singing Lovin Feeling & here comes Elvis, now with about 18 guys, single file across the stage, each punched him in the arm, said “Hi Bill” & kept walking. After the crowed calmed down, Bill “deadpanned”, “I don’t know who he is, but he’s starting to piss me off.” Elvis heard & called to see if he was really bothered. Bill said “are you kidding me??!! My next show’s at 8:00. Could you be there, please?”
Did you notice at the end, he conducts his band, he does that in all songs, he is the one telling all when the song ends. He also does a Cover of: Unchained Melody
Please check out some of the songs he did on the Aloha From Hawaii live concert, like Steam Roller Blues, Fever, American Trilogy, I'll Remember You, and Something. Also You Gave Me A Mountain. I've been an Elvis fan for 50 plus years and love seeing young people discover him! Love your reactions!
You see why he was so loved in his shows. He draws you in with him and you feel what he feels. It does that with me and I've never been to one of his shows.. make me feel his pain or happiness. Love Elvis. He had everything voice, a tush, his love for his fans. So much his fans raised their children to love him. Your reaction is the same as mine. Move with him. Just love this man. ❤❤❤ thank you for showing your reaction.❤
Hello from Australia, love your work, yes ELVIS the most versatile Vocal ARTIST HANDS DOWN, CAN YOU PLEASE REVIEW ELVIS SINGING, TOMMORROW IS A LONG TIME, IT is ELVIS A GUITAR AND TAMBOURINE, SUBLIME, AS WELL, DANNY BOY, AND A SONG TITLED, ARE YOU SINCERE. 🇦🇺🇺🇲👍💯
It’s funny here we are in 2022. And with Elvis’s strong performances it’s like as if he’s still around. Did you notice he nearly made a mistake in the words? Thanks guys always love your reactions. 😀
Lol When the line in this song is “I’ll get down on my knees for you” Did you hear him say (If The Suit Wasn’t To Tight) he has fun and will sometimes add his own little line in the lyrics Same with ( suspicious minds ) song line- “So If an Old Friend I Know” Elvis-inserts ( Shove it up your nose) then right into the next line!! 😂
The smirk, the tiny smile over to the backups, was because he flubbed the line & they all knew it. Backstage he said he was very concerned about the lyrics & wasn't sure he'd get it right . And sho' nuf, there was a tiny mess up -- but master that he was, he just slid right through as if nothing happened. Many people don't pick up on it but if you listen real close, even slow it down you can recognize it.
Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers wrote You’ve Lost That Loving Felling and Unchained Melody! Check out his song Old Friend , A tribute he wrote about Elvis!
No. Unchained Melody was written as an instrumental for a forgotten prison film called Unchained in 1955. It later gained lyrics, first with Les Baxter, and then Al Hibbler (the more famous lyrics) the same year. The Righteous Brothers didn't cover it until 1965. Most of the big hits weren't written by them either. Neither of these were.
Hi suzi and travis, great reaction did you hear elvis making a mistake when singing, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless and hope you and your family are keeping well
If you haven't watched the Viva Las Vegas movie clip of Elvis and Ann Margaret singing and dancing to "C'Mon Everybody" is also a great one. Hope you enjoy it
