Ive done it this way every day for years, with tomato & onion, then break two eggs over the top, put lid on and gently poach out. Lovely runny egg on a bed of delicious BACON !! OMG ❤️🙌🇬🇧🇺🇸

How long does it take? I do it this way, but on medium, and then I don't even need a lid. It takes about 25 minutes.
When it's crisp throw in some sauerkraut and cabbage. Turn down the heat and simmer for 10 minutes or so. I'll be right over.
