Inshallah my next car will be a MK7.5 Golf R or Rs3 next, Bro what would be interesting would be a video about the sound of the cars. All these new cars have OPF and the only good golf R's which sound good are 17 reg below.
You’re right bro, we’ve had our plates cloned before, the owner of the black golf wasn’t fussed and it is a lot more editing to blur the plates out so done us a favour at the same time
Be good to see a stage 1 vs stage 2 golf r video. And dyno day were u get people you know and people offline to come down to a local mapping place. see what they think they get and what they actually get
Not much difference really, around 25 hp and even less tq. Stage 2 is a lot more money because of adding the downpipe and intercooler into the mix along with the software. I have stage 1+ and I dont see the value in going Stage 2, for the cost I mean, and I'm not sure on longevity of the engine with Stage 2. I'm hoping to keep the car another 4 years. But I know why people do it, they want that extra 25hp no mater the cost :(
@@vroomgc depends what your goal is. most people go stage 2 straight away and skip stage 1 as its not really a stage its just taking your car for a remap lol. if your goal is to build big power im the future your going to need a dp and cooler either way. f your happy with a near stock car and on a budget then stick to stage 1 haha
@@IKenexPSN Ok I see what I'm dealing with here. Guess you don't understand the differences. The Power and torque gains are as follows for the various remaps; Stage 1 91 octane : 45 hp and 50 FT lbs torque, Stage 1.5 91 octane: 70 hp and 70 Ft lbs torque, Stage 1.5 93 octane: 87 hp and 90 Ft lbs torque. (which is what I have) Stage 2 91 octane: 96 hp and 101 Ft lbs torque, Stage 2 93 octane: 99 hp and 118 Ft lbs torque, Stage 2 requires a downpipe with high flow cat and you should get an intercooler. So for 12 hp and 28tq you can go right ahead and get a Stage 2 93 Octane and spend all that cash on it vs my Stage 1+ 93 octane. I'm the one laughing as we are right beside each other in a race and I have all that money in my pocket :) Haha
@@vroomgc luckily for me, money isn’t really in issue. but im stage 2 plus at 431bhp. but plan on going to stage 3 with a v5 turbo just after the new years running about 570Bhp. so stage 2’s a no brainer if your wanting to build. if your happy around 380bhp mark then stick to a intake and map. personally if you cant afford to build then you shouldn’t be modding one of these expensive hatches in the first place. just a thought.
@@IKenexPSN So I personally can afford it but I'm looking at longevity of the car which a Stage 1 is fine and also gives me lots of power for the money. So I dont see your point. All those additions make the car drive much better just like the cars I've had in the past I've done similar mods and never worry about problems as a result. You are a guy that chases hp so that's your choice.. I'm not as interested in the top end hp I can get out of an engine. Those days are in my past.
