its nice seeing ppl buying there dream car . hope some day i can find and buy one my dream cars . any Rx8 specia edition one with the NR_A kit on or the Shinka or Evolve or Revelation thats an austrelian special edition or the Nemesis or the MZ tune any of those will be nice . Spirit R would be like a REAL dream come true . there re only 1000 of them and have never seen one up close that car had a 270 Khm top speed

what's so special about 270Km/h top speed? That is something male daily estate does but an eu spec rx7 is basically unobtainium and something i would really like to have. Guess having a 30th anniversary nd is kind of the best one could do in europe. That is kind of the last of it's kind a lot of fun to drive.
@@amduser86 270 khm top speed it's not special for a R8 or a Lambo maybe but for a car that new cost 30k plus all the other things it has is special. Tho that wasn't the reason I personally like it. I like the rx8 for all the changes they did with that engine compared to it's older counterpart. Prove to many that if more companies put money and time to develop it can be better. The argument use to be these engines can't do better then what they Alrd do (with the rx7).

I am sorry, but 270km/h is something quite a lot diesel estates can do and will do. Today i just drove 260km/h with a stock 330i (all bmw are essentially delimited, if you know how)
Furthermore more the rx7 was not cheap. The last list price here in Germany was 44,5k € . Considering inflation from 1996 this would be about an 100k € car today. That is also the reason why the good japanese sports cars died out. They were to expensive in the middle of the 90's.

the fd3s is probably still the best Japanese sports car. The gt-r, 300zx and supra are just too heavy ...

This is definitely the perfect car to start a “fresh” build on (with intentions of hard driving). Already got layers of paint, engines clearly been worked on, it’s all there but far from “mint”. Can’t wait to see more of the build!!

I always thought the rear of the coupes look similar to the hatch versions but they look so different, more “boxy” with the shape and taillights.

Levin coupe, my personal favorite on the line. I would love it if your editor kept the body kit, it's so oldschool and the little bits of damage really add a lot of character to the car in my opinion.

Plus the fact that some of the oem parts for that car are hard to find these days in Japan right? I also wonder if your friend will look at the yahoo auctions to buy some AE86 parts that are rare like the door seals, rubber etc. Nice content as always.

Soo, Sam from Nightride got his Trueno 2 door and Alec got his Levin 2 door in a video that are uploaded on the same day. Both sport /almost/ similar maroon red color. Twin build perhaps?

No reason, was more about the 86 that day
Man, a straight piped car would get you a hefty fine here in switzerland and you'd have to swap it out for OEM / sport muffler with a silencer again.
It can do in Japan as well, but definitely less so.
Will alec modify it?

@dino_dc those oem mirror visors are super rare as far as I know, paid a pretty penny for my set and I only know of one or two other people with them. Please do not toss them out

Is it normal to drive 3 hours each way to buy a car over there, or did that car feature some specific things that Alec was wanting that couldn’t be found in Tokyo (or couldn’t be found at the price he paid maybe)? I’m curious as I myself drove 3 hours each way here in the States for my S2K but had very specific reasons for doing so. I’m with Alec on the 14” wheels. Looking forward to seeing how things play out.
Very rare to find something like an 86 for sale in central Tokyo. 3 hour drives here are the norm for anything car related!
For an australian, its totally normal man haha. 3 hours is nothing. We are known to fly sydney to melbourne to buy cars and drive them the 9-11 hours back again hahaha
Why is it all itb cars I see in Japan don't run filters, especially how rare some of 86 engines are surely you'd want to protect from damage, someone please explain?
