Thank you for an easy but detailed pattern! Zipper tabs came out perfect!
You are so welcome!
I have struggled with installing zipper tabbed zippers and this tutorial made a light bulb switch on - thank you so much! AND now I know how to sew with vinyl!
Great to hear!
A nice tutorial. I am making two of these today.
Purchased my teflon foot the other day and went in search of vinyl zipper bag tutorial. I loved this one! Your directions were so easy to follow. Thank you!

That is so pretty. Thank you for your video.
You are so welcome
A train just passed my house so when I heard the whistle I thought it was the same one!!!! Lol!!! It was weird tho because they never blow their whistle when they pass here!!!!
I'm going to make this pouch looks super easy with Natalie's great instructions! Has anyone added straps? I'm trying to figure out the best way to attach a shoulder strap!
You can do it! Maybe add D-ring attachments on the side seams and hook your strap into those.
@@SewHungryHippie Thank you Natalie!! This will work!
Yay!! Thank you! This was easy.
You're so welcome!
It’s so cute! Since the top edge is a folded fabric and not a raw edge, could you just sew the zipper just under the folded edge and eliminate the flip and topstitching? I’ve got your starry vinyl so I just might make this today!
Try it and see if you like that outcome! :D
My shop gets cold in winter here in Oregon. I hang a heat light over my work station when working with upholstery vinyl
Brilliant!
a cutie!
thanks!
💕
before I turned the vinyl inside out, I blow dried it, and now there are cloudy looking parts on my clear vinyl! oops! what did I do wrong? Was the heat to intense? I had it on the hottest setting and touching the vinyl. I regret it so much! All this work and this mistake...
Never touch the vinyl with the blow dryer. It’s only about 10-20 seconds that’s needed. Eeeek! This tip is in my Seeing Vinyl guide on my website. Sewhungryhippie.com
if you wanted to make it a purse, will it be simple?
Sure add D rings and a strap.
I don't see measurements for the vinyl. Did I miss it on the video?
They are in the description box Vicki, click so you can see it all.
@@SewHungryHippie I got it… I had scrolled down too far 🤦🏻♀️
