Well I definitely wasn't going to use the part of the biovore I chopped off for anything else and it has a nice hollow for attaching the long mouth part to form the barrel of the gun. So if I used a ball of aluminium foil it's basically more work for me and I'll be wasting aluminium foil that my girlfriend might need for baking :)
good video brother, the truth seemed to me a very interesting kitbash, but I will not do it because I do not play tyranids hahaha but if one day I dare to try them for sure the biovore will be among the ranks of the swarm.....
@@TrevorGoesMeep Legion of Everblight from Hordes, produced by Privateer Press. They have some beasts very similar to Tyranids. I picked up some of their "Spell Wracks" models to use on bases because their chest is exploding outwards, figured I could use the torso and have a Ripper bursting out.
@@TrevorGoesMeep Wargames Atlantic have some interesting Giant Spiders that can give some extra limbs (and cyborg guns), for one. Tyranids are a bit niche, Orks and Guard/Marines get the most love in the dedicated third party bitz sphere (like Kromlech, Anvil Industries, and Victoria Minis have good stuff).
I usually make them out of junk and spare parts I have lying around, would you be interested in seeing a video of that? I don't think they look very nice though HAHA
So let me get this straight. You used a £35 plague drone kit, sacrificed a £32.50 Tyranid warriors kit (which doesn't come with spare legs), to make.. a £22.50 biovore kit? 😂😂😂 Ok I do agree that the official biovore is ugly as hell and needs a new model but still, damn expensive 😂😂
