From what I understand, he can make "Caliburn like swords" and Excalibur looks pretty similar to Caliburn, so I imagine this sword has the appereance of Excalibur, but the stats and abilities of Caliburn

He's a better caster, but he prefers to pull out the holy sword because he often gets tongue tied when chanting spells. He WAS Artoria's swordsmanship teacher though, so he's certainly no slouch there either.

Edit: its True babylonia is ancient or thing in the past and Merlin shouldn't be born yet but that doesn't apply to the singularity concept lol coz the singularity itself is happening in the present. The OG babylonia is where Gil fight to the deaths with Enkidu and they passed away later on and his legend never state they fought Tiamat like in the babylonia singularity so Merlin not being born yet is irrelevant coz this is an entire different plane.

Probably because Excalibur’s design is basically a European Longsword. Uniformally, people use two hands but using one hand can still suffice. Bigger swords like a Nodachi or a Zweihander is when using a two handed is a necessity
