My holy grail moisturizing deep conditioner is the Not Your Mothers Curl Talk Mask. I like it was better than their Matcha mask. Also wish you did the products in order of application so it's not confusing what order to use them.

@@allyb7225 we don’t have NYM, prose, playa, that ouidad line yet, or the Pacifica (we only have Pacifica in some of the makeup) I feel like we are just very behind where I am haha.
We also, sadly, don’t have Kristen ess or kinky curly which I’ve been searching for and are mainly what I want to try.
@@sarahstatt1242 Oh, we have Playa at Sephora in ON, I didn't realize it was different in other provinces. You should definitely checkout well.ca for Kristen Ess products and Curl Warehouse (they're based in Calgary) for Kinky curly and Ouidad, including that line of Ouidad products!
I love using the Ouidad styler on my refresh days! My hair is 2a and suuuuper fine, so that gives me a plumped hold without overly crisping it up.

I’m late to this video but when using a leave in conditioner, is it best to go for a gel or mouse afterwords?
Thank you as always! You had done a video many months ago on the NYM stylers and you liked the cream the most when you first tried. What do you feel after having used it a bit more? How does it compare to the Briogeo cream?
Also, what are your thoughts on cream vs. mousse vs. gel in general? I always feel like the gel is too much/too sticky but mousse isn't enough hold. :)
Thanks for watching! It’s funny now I like the mousse and gel more! The cream is just heavier and a little bit tackier than the briogeo one.. but I still like it! It’s just not my favorite ever. Honestly it just depends what I’m going for, but I tend to gravitate more towards mousse for a final styler.. I like to layer cream underneath and sometimes I do go for gel if I want smoother waves and don’t mind having a bit less volume
Batiste works so well but it gives me a headache. 😪 Acure makes a really great dry shampoo and it comes in a brunette formula. 💕💕💕

Hi Tabitha, Thanks for the informative video! What products would you recommend for someone with wavy (2a/b) fine (easily weighed down) hair, who is also sensitive to fragrance? I'm looking for something that helps enhance curl when air drying because I avoid using heat on my hair. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated 🥰
Hi Vanessa! Generally, light weight leave ins and gels work best for what you’ve described your hair type to be! (Based on experiences of people with similar hair) everyone’s will be different, and I don’t have specific recommendations off the top of my head, but most likely a thinner consistency medium/high hold gel over top of a light moisturizing leave in would probably be ideal! I hope this helps.. youtube has lots of different product videos! I still have work to do so not sure when it’ll be up, but I want to do a fragrance free product recommendations!

Vanessa I have really fine 2a hair and I noticed I have to use dry shampoo every day, even wash days, to get that oomph. I also use a little bit of the CURLS Blueberry Bliss hair mask. It’s a perfect combo of moisture and protein and squishing it into my hair clumps my waves. Also, what Tabitha said 🤓

This is probably an obvious question haha But what is the difference between the stylers and leave in conditioners? Do you use them both in your wash routine, if so in what order? Or is the leave in for refresh days? Thanks! :)
I know this is a question for Tabitha, but here it is: Stylers, or in this case curl creams, are similar to leave in conditioners in that they both provide moisture, but creams tame frizz and make the hair more defined whereas leave ins do not. Gels and mousses are not meant to add moisture and are mostly to provide hold and longevity to waves/curls. Depending on how dry your hair is, you can choose to add a leave in, but if your hair is easily weighed down, it would be better to just use the stylers. If you’re looking for defined waves/curls, never JUST use a leave in because then it wouldn’t have the desired effect. The best order to apply these is leave in (if you need it), cream, and then gel/mousse. Refreshing with just a leave in wouldn’t do much- it’s better to use a bit of a light styler with water. However, order, amount, and method of application vary from person to person, so the best way to find out is from trial and error. Hope this helps and wasn’t too long😉👌
This is the jist ^ 😊 I like to use a leave in conditioner for extra moisture in the beginning and I feel like it helps my stylers distribute better 💗

Does anyone else find the NYMs curl talk mousse makes their hair sticky 😭
i did but i have been loving it now that i learned how to use it. when i use too much it makes my hair sticky, sooo i barely squirt any and then wait for it to puff out since it like quadruples in size lol and then sometime ill split whats in my hand on a clean counter and use that if i need, normally when i flip my hair. so try using way less, thats what works for me and ive been loving it!! hope this works for you :)

Naomi Krumsieg I have 2b/2c waves! And sticky as in after I use this product whenever I wet my hair again to refresh my hair basically tangles into knots from the stickiness
