Helo sorin i want to say thank you I got alot of experience because of you vedio. can you please make a vedio about you charger how to did you make a disine with power supply which is u use on this vedioyou using posative with out negative from power supply thanks .
That is the ACDRV pin. According with the datasheet, for a typical application it needs to have a 4K resistor to limit inrush current, so this 1R resistor should not be critical and can be replaced by a wire. It is most likely in series with a larger resistor in the area. I wonder how many people will try to repair a motherboard and short a sensing resistor or a voltage divider one thinking they will fix it :))
@@cfamozcomputermetropolis7191 you're right, I counted forward from pin 1 not backwards. That is BTST pin 25 related to a comparator and it only requires a 47nF capacitor to PHASE pin. This resistor is not on the typical circuit diagram so it will work fine without it. I guess they tried to limit the current to load that capacitor? But it's a small capacity, shouldn't take such a high current
Hi mr.Sorin, good but, i think you made mistakes, 1- reflowing bad solder instead of removing/ refilling it can make only a percentage of original conductance, 2-on the resistor, i felt it was the solder and it was.. i think 1 uG of solder doesn't carry someone to bankrupt.. plus the wire instead of resistor i think is ok here but don't call it fuse, is only a bridge (only here).. bye!

12:11 - We dont call you dodgy, we KNOW you are dodgy :D Sorin you are getting old... problems with soldering smd resistor? We all gonna be there one day... :)
no, the problem was a partially open resistor due to corrosion on the end. It's a common fault to see resistors go open due to corrosion in a lot of electronics, not just laptop.
No interrupted resistor, no problem, perfectly calibrated wire again, LOL, Well spotted!, Excellent!
Proper calibrated solder balls.
Sorin - *Knows exactly what he is doing and fixes problem

Nice job as always. I saw that part of the end of the resistor had been corroded away. It happens a lot with liquid damage.
I don't know you, but I love the "Sorin way" videos!
We love the Sorin way. The Sorin way is best way. 👍
I am amazed at how you narrowed it down to that resistor so quickly. Proper nice job 👍 Love watching you work.
Always nice watching this channel Sorin. THANKS a million for your effort
after reflowing the resistance at 11:45 ---> the battery was not plugin
Brilliant fix Sorin thanks 😊
I’ve had this a few times in work with drain camera control units.
will you be live on sunday for coffee?

@@bakedien12345678 yeah I noticed it too
12:48 I prefer a soldier bridge here, because of more practical and no resistance difference.
Beautiful
❤greate the resistor must for bq ic, if no resistor the bq ic fails over current issues.

Only Sorin can reflow the Bq24780s 15mm away from the battery. Lol 😅 . nah.. i don't have that kind of courage . Maybe next time
The God of repairs.
великолепно.как всегда великолепно.Спасибо вам
15:00 the laptop still says the same thing and you cut the part but we can see it later 😂
2 capacitors didn’t look to healthy either. Nice video
I was thinking, why not replacing that small resistor
that's exactly what he did, he replaced the resistor....with a wire.... resistor is also a wire with a property called resistance measured in ohms.
@@orange11squares what's the value of the wire?
awesome love it

Your awesome 👍😎
My teacher, helped me know how to save my laptop after I had spilled soda on it and wasn't turning on.
@5:25 a tiny resistor seems unexplicably close to the 753WQ 5pins component.
Which multimeter are you using?
Yesterday I’m realized that that liquid rosin is much better then any flux I have to make proper solid solder connections
Nice! 😎😎😎
