Hi Kesha. I just listened to your praying song and although it wasn't my first time listening to it, it hit me hard. Growing up, my mom and dad divorced when I was 3-4 and my biological dad was on and off as he battled his alcoholism. When I was 5, I dealt with a physically and mentally abuse stepfather. I lost my youngest brother to suicide 2 1/2 years ago and I haven't spoken to my biological father since that time. I love him and I truly wish I could have a relationship with him. That song makes me think about him and what I'd hope he could do for himself, but it also applies to me, too. I want to be a better person and I know I'm capable of it. Thank you so much for bearing your soul in that song and giving me an outlet to appreciate how far I've come in life to still be standing.
