  • Prague. Welcome on the Tatra T3 tram no. 6892 + 7275 of the nostalgic line 23: Zvonařka - Královka and back, drive through the historic City Center, which offers many sights.
    Even before the Second World War, the electricity companies tried to fundamentally modernize their tram fleet. The actual implementation did not take place until the early 1950s, when PCC technology from the United States of America became the basis. The T1 trams, which were intended to replace the original two-axle trams, were only delivered to Prague in 133 units. The development of a new T ll vehicle had already started in 1951 but, apart from a few prototypes, did not appear in Prague. At the end of the 1950s, the Prague public transport company participated in the development of a new vehicle, and the result was the T III (later referred to as the T3), which began its test drives with passengers in June 1961. These trams were first integrated into regular operation in November 1962. By 1976, had been delivered to Prague 892 T3 tram cars .

    Bereits vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg strebten die Elektrizitätsunternehmen eine grundlegende Modernisierung ihrer Straßenbahnflotte an. Die eigentliche Umsetzung erfolgte erst in den frühen 1950er Jahren, als die PCC-Technologie aus den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika zu ihrer Grundlage wurde. Die T1-Straßenbahnen, die als Ersatz für die ursprünglichen zweiachsigen Straßenbahnen vorgesehen waren, wurden nur in einer Stückzahl von 133 nach Prag geliefert. Die Entwicklung eines neuen T ll-Fahrzeugs hatte bereits 1951 begonnen, erschien aber bis auf wenige Prototypen nicht in Prag. Ende der 1950er Jahre beteiligte sich die Prager Verkehrsbetriebe an der Entwicklung eines neuen Fahrzeugs, und das Ergebnis war der T III (später als T3 bezeichnet), der im Juni 1961 seine Testfahrten mit Fahrgästen begann. Diese Straßenbahnen wurden erstmals integriert im regulären Betrieb im November 1962. Bis 1976 waren 892 T3-Straßenbahnwagen nach Prag geliefert worden.

    Chiar înainte de al Doilea Război Mondial, companiile de transport au încercat să-și modernizeze fundamental flota de tramvaie. Implementarea propriu-zisă nu a avut loc până la începutul anilor '50, când tehnologia PCC din Statele Unite ale Americii a devenit baza pentru tramvaiele T l , care urmau să înlocuiască tramvaiele originale cu două axe, au fost livrate la Praga doar în 133 de unități. Dezvoltarea unui nou vehicul T ll a început deja în 1951, dar, în afară de câteva prototipuri, nu a apărut la Praga. La sfârșitul anilor '50, compania de transport public din Praga a participat la dezvoltarea unui nou vehicul, iar rezultatul a fost T III (denumit ulterior T3), care și-a început testele cu pasageri în iunie 1961. Aceste tramvaie au fost integrate pentru prima dată în operațiune regulată în noiembrie 1962. Până în 1976, au fost livrate 892 de tramvaie T3 la Praga.

    This is a very big city. I have been roaming in the tram for the last 1 hour but the city is not ending. 😂😂😂😂

    Just amazing trams Tatras T3. They are really one of symbols of Prague. I wish they started producing them again. Maybe with a low floor in the middle, but still with the same stunning look.

    Praga-i splendida,...de asemenea si tramvaiele (probabil facute tot de bastinasi). La Oradea tramvaiele contractate de la austrieci,se ...vede ca-s mai demodate (ma rog ...pa masura clientului ).Pai uriteniile trimise la Oradea...sigur le puteam face si noi Romanii.
