I work at the Whole Foods he shops at, and he is genuinely a nice guy. Always been respectful and decent. It’s hard not to mention videos my roommate tried the recipe on, but he’s chatted with me about them. Enjoyed that, and liked him more after meeting him.
Love Sam the Cooking Guy - starting watching during CoVid - my husband and I would sit and watch for hours. Great entertainment and great recipes! Keep up the good work!
We were lucky enough to run into Sam at one of his restaurants while vacationing in San Diego last week. He was INCREDIBLY nice in person and took several minutes out of his day to chat with us and take pictures with our kids. He’s a genuinely great guy, and we’ll always be huge fans!
Sam is almost 100% responsible for my cooking skills. He makes cooking so accessible for regular people. I'm grateful I found him, and so are my wife's taste buds.
I had the good fortune to meet Sam years ago when he was still in television at a cooking demonstration. He was a very affable guy with great tips on cooking delicious meals with a few simple ingredients. I took many notes and still use the ingredients he suggested that day. I quickly subscribed to his TH-cam channel and have been following him for many years. Sam is my favorite food channel still to today.
Sam taught me how to cook. Everyone else, I felt like I had to spend so much money on ingredients or didn't have the technical part down. With Sam, I feel like I can fuck up half the meal and not have the other half of ingredients and it'll still turn out well. Mostly because he fucked up half the meal and subbed half the ingredients. Love Sam. We still make his southern style baked mac and cheese every thanksgiving.
So enjoy Sams videos. Gives me great ideas and new things to make. Though he causes me to constantly search amazon for spices and new flavors to see how great they taste. His way of showing how to make things makes it easier to follow and create great food. With Sam and Guga, Vito and that guy can cook, you have the makings of great food, new ideas, inspiring new flavors and great entertainment value while learning and laughing. Sam the cooking guy is one of the best on cooking.
I’m always so happy when I think about having my own family to cook for in the future. I’m contemplating starting my own business (from my home kitchen) cooking and delivering meals for elderly and disabled people, but the red tape is annoying. It’s people like Sam and Chef Jean-Pierre who have inspired me to go down this path because it doesn’t have to be Michelin star quality as long as it tastes good.
I started cooking in 2020 during the lockdown - Sam was my 1st inspiration with the thought, "I can do this" - Thank you @samthecookingguy - I cook all the time now
I love Sam, he is the best. I've tried many of his recipes and they are all simple and delicious. If you like chicken soup, try his ''cheater chicken and dumplings'' - you're welcome.
A lot of these stand and stir cooking channels are boring, repetitive and unoriginal but Sam is definitely one of the few who broke the norm. His videos are constant quality!
San Diego resident and retired USN. Met Sam a few times Little Italy at Food Court he has two Great restaurants a very cool and nice guy! Simple cooking for meatheads like ME!
VERY TRUE on his AUTHENTICITY...one time he was cutting hot peppers, mistakenly TOUCHED HIS EYES and he didnt edit it out and you could feel his pain.. I HEARD OF CHEFS WARNING ON NOT TOUCHING YOUR EYES AFTER WORKING WITH HOT PEEPERS but never saw it actually happen....it was painful to watch
What also would be nice is if TH-cam video hosts didn't add music to their dialogue tracks. Bloody distracting. At least Sam doesn't add music to his dialogue tracks.
I've watched a lot of cooking shows, very few are 'complicated', so Sam's success probably has more to do with his personality and sense of humor than a novel approach to culinary demonstrations
"Making food that's big on taste and small on effort" My sink would beg to differ on the effort part of that statement after some of his dishes I've recreated
I've watched dozens of Sam's videos and some of them are quite entertaining, even though his cooking style is rife with rookie mistakes. He makes up for it in creativity. This video was a good production with good information, but the announcer's voice was shrill and grating. A poor fit for the likely viewers (older).
I can’t understand how his channel is monetized as much as he curses when other TH-camrs aren’t allowed to use foul language for fear of being demonetized 🤷♀️
Sam was fun at first with vermouth in everything, but then every video became the best thing he ever made, and their just droal and boring redux's of what hes done before or what he sees on food network.
I quickly became a regular, watching Sam The Cooking Guy. About 4 years ago I came upon his channel by chance. A fresh no nonsense approach to a cooking show. Simple ingredients and great recipes. Then there was a change. F-Bombs started to creep in. Now I am no saint but more and more F-bombs and then taking the Lord's name in vain. For no reason. This is a cooking show. Not some drama series. Just cooking food. Can you imagine Julia Child dropping an F-bomb. No!. After 2 years of watching every episode, enough was enough and I unsubscribed, and I have never looked back. Did he miss me? Of course not. I wouldn't expect him too. He has those subscribers that don't care about anything except themselves.
More like the Shitty Cook Guy. Why are people so scared of learning to cook? Everything I see is EASY in the titles. Good cooking isn't difficult, it just takes some knowledge and trial and error. BOO THIS MAN!
Sam is not only my hero for his cooking, but for putting Hoda and Kathy Lee in their place on the Today back when! They so deserved it!! Rock on Sam!!
I only just saw that video, oh my God. That was hilarious.
Oh I have to go find that.
@@toddgaak422 Enjoy!! Needless to say each got a lil beeautchy cuz they knew Sam was right about them. I couldn't stand watching them. Sam, I like!
I work at the Whole Foods he shops at, and he is genuinely a nice guy. Always been respectful and decent. It’s hard not to mention videos my roommate tried the recipe on, but he’s chatted with me about them. Enjoyed that, and liked him more after meeting him.

One of the better channels on You Tube; informative, but always good for a laugh.
I love watching Sam & the boys. They are so fun.
Sam is almost 100% responsible for my cooking skills. He makes cooking so accessible for regular people.

I've made a few of his recipe and enjoy his channel whole heartedly.
Ah, Love Sam and his cooking! Honest and enjoyable to watch with great recipes😋
Sam taught me how to cook.

Love Sam. We still make his southern style baked mac and cheese every thanksgiving.
I've been watching Sam the cooking guy for about a year now... He definitely makes cooking easier and tastier
So enjoy Sams videos. Gives me great ideas and new things to make. Though he causes me to constantly search amazon for spices and new flavors to see how great they taste. Sam should be a judge on food competitions.
He should even have his own show "Sam's Cook-off"
I love Sam, he is the best.
Thank you for this video. Found him a couple years ago, and watch him 3 times a week now.
Sams a beauty. I havent missed an episode to date. My family and friends think im an amazing cook (thanks to him) and i love his sense of humor.
San Diego resident and retired USN. Met Sam a few times Little Italy at Food Court he has two Great restaurants a very cool and nice guy! Simple cooking for meatheads like ME!

Every recipe of Sam's I've tried has been absolutely fabulous. My go-to food channel.
This guy inspired me to buy a good grill. I am still not super good at cooking, but I am learning.
The two times I met him he bas always been so nice. He is awesome!
Sam is the guy that got me to learn how to cook during Covid!
What also would be nice is if TH-cam video hosts didn't add music to their dialogue tracks. Bloody distracting. At least Sam doesn't add music to his dialogue tracks.
I used to love sam back in the day but when his son started cracking his corny jokes all the time I just couldnt take it.
Love Sam! Proud winner of a garlic press with his face engraved on it 😂
One funny dude! With a funny cast.
He looks like Chef Rudy on the sitcom MOM. French Stewart 😂😂
I love Sam and have one of his cookbooks. Carefully watch each video - he burns himself every time!
Love to see my guys on here!
I love Sam. I've made several of his recipes.
His food is a comedy, what I most allways like.
Give me Sam the Cooking Guy and That Dude Can Cook and that's all the entertainment I need.
Love this
I've watched a lot of cooking shows, very few are 'complicated', so Sam's success probably has more to do with his personality and sense of humor than a novel approach to culinary demonstrations
This guy makes me look like a pro chef. My bro in law is a professional chef, but Sam makes me seem like a better cook.
Good or Bad.... I 🥰 Sam and the Fam.
I credit my wife and STCG for my new found love and passion for cooking
North Western Mexico is a scary trip these days.
He’s a San Diego treasure.
"Making food that's big on taste and small on effort" My sink would beg to differ on the effort part of that statement after some of his dishes I've recreated
Actually making his chicken and waffles casserole right now.......The guy is money...
Why didn't you show the brand on the bun? That was rude.
Dream of every Canadian is to leave Canada, preferably for US :) Love his show
I thought he pronounced his name Zeen?
He is 5 feet tall
It's a guy named Sam and he cooks
I've watched dozens of Sam's videos and some of them are quite entertaining, even though his cooking style is rife with rookie mistakes. He makes up for it in creativity. This video was a good production with good information, but the announcer's voice was shrill and grating. A poor fit for the likely viewers (older).
He is one unorganized mofo and scatter brained and cusses a lot! 😂
Thats what makes it great
I can’t understand how his channel is monetized as much as he curses when other TH-camrs aren’t allowed to use foul language for fear of being demonetized 🤷♀️
Why did this channel decide to keep referring to Sam by his last name only? Seems odd.
Sam was fun at first with vermouth in everything, but then every video became the best thing he ever made, and their just droal and boring redux's of what hes done before or what he sees on food network.
This is horrible, another TH-cam channel making money by lazily sharing the hard work of real TH-cam stars. Go away!!

skibidi
There is nothing "man" about Sam. Or his offspring.
Man?????
THIS GUY IS A TOOL LOL
TRYING TOO HARD TO BE “THE COOL GUY” 😂
his dorky ass son is even worse! his corny ass jokes are just flat out annoying!
More like the Shitty Cook Guy. Why are people so scared of learning to cook? Everything I see is EASY in the titles. Good cooking isn't difficult, it just takes some knowledge and trial and error. BOO THIS MAN!
