what I learned from you, which seems small but is huge: when you don`t know something or a spot is close you admit it, mark it for review AND fold. I bet that has saved you thousands.
The chart I'm using has ATo evenly mixing 3bet and fold at 100BB effective. Since Jarretman is playing closer to 150BB effective, an offsuit double broadway hand like that will perform worse and is probably a pure fold. Probably fine to play if you know you have at least a small skill edge though.
"3:43" I don't really like this play to the river. A4o 3bet BB v SB, 994t that's the spot where SB x/r alot with 9x, then hand that SB repping river is almost mainly come from A9 and 44 which you block to the extreme. And that's not the sizing he should use actually I expect him to be unbalanced and have some unorthodox bluffs. and your specific hand blocks and unblocks well.
I dont see the other guy bluffing a lot there despite a missed FD or a hand as KJ KT floating flop for the prize or maybe 4x. If he had an ace he wont do that bet, same as 88 77 cause he could have SD value same as Qx he is more likely to c back as the way jarret played the hand. Other option is the guy is putting him on TT JJ 88 and bluffed him, but he also can think he had some Ax.... On the other hand there are decent amount of times with that 3 bet call he could have 9x. I think its a good fold though. Good to know too what type of player was the other guy Btw i dont agree 9x is going to c raise a lot on the flop. Jarrets range are lots of Ax pockets or bluffs, mainly bluffs or a weak hand on that spot, why would you raise 9x against a guy as jarret? It could have sensebif jarret was a maniac so he will lvl himself which is not, jarret is more nit profile
@@Furthermore23 9x is almost x/r. it's for sure solver said to do so also but think about SB as a OOP defender he should x/r alot as defending and you should have value hands for x/r.
luv the vids....keep up the good work/play.....when u made that comment about spotting the sucker in the game, dont u think u shouldve just got up off the table or did u stay seated just for content. just curious
Its a good fold long term bc from the size of the bet. If its a bluff with a flush draw or something like that congrats for the other guy and good size bet. Butbi think you have to fold here
20:08 Would have loved to see you over bet jam that AQ on the river vs youseff, I think its as a great play in that spot blocking QJ, I think his range is mostly just super capped here bvb with mostly a large amount of Ax that we are chopping with, maybe we can even sometimes get a bad hero call from a hand like KT. Keep up the great content! I really learn a lot from watching you play.
Around 11mins in you decided not to 3bet ATo because we are 150bbs deep, how would you construct your sb 3bet range for that stack depth? Amazing reasoning love the video 🙏🙏
if we're still playing 3b or fold its overall gonna be tighter and focused more on suited hands/pairs and less so on offsuit broadways; the deeper we go the more true that is I believe
Aq hand, i like a shove on the river, 3-5 combos of jx suited and 3 combos of q10, than theres like minimum 20combos of ax, u can fold him of a split 70-80% of the time, might not be best gto but this spot wont come anytime soon so in a vacuum hand instantly gains ev
it's a borderline hand. plays better shorter stack depths. I've seen some ranges where it never folds, some where it 3bet or folds, some where it flats low freq fold sometimes, 3bet sometimes, etc etc
Hi everyone. I am currently making 10 bb/100 playing plo 200 (regular tables and i do table select) and I was wondering what are the ev win rates of jarretman or any other accomplished player in nl 200 and in nl500. I am saying this because it looks to me the level of analysis he puts into every hand does not allow to multitable like a maniac (so that you can get similar volume to a plo player), but I am not sure about winrates. Does anyone have an idea what an achievable win rate may be at this levels?
@@Jarretman Thanks. This looks so low, given the insane amount of theory that you apply in your videos. I think I will stick to PLO then. Great videos anyway!
@@guccimane7348 It's pretty widely accepted for the SB to 3bet a strong, merged range. When out of position and the BB is still to act, bluffs don't perform very well. From in position or when you are guaranteed a heads up pot, bluffs have more merit.
@@guccimane7348 Undoubtedly. Even well ahead of a normal button opening range. However, what matters is how our 3bet performs against his continuing range. Unless you want to have a small blind calling range that includes ATo.
Your theorizing way too hard on the 66 vs ak hand. Youseff was simply putting him on broadways and not pocket jacks or higher. SO he jammed. AK didnt have to call, but theres a lot of money in the pot and he still has odds against a lot of hands. so he calls.
