You call with all pairs on the board because in this spot it's better to have more outs to 2p than to be holding 88, you also have flush draws and straight draws you can call which will perform better than 88
24:20 You mentioned villain's turn sizing is strange (75-80%pot). Why is this? I understand villain should be doing a very infrequent amount of betting with their polarized range on a higher card board pairing turn. But I'm still trying to grasp what the appropriate sizing is with their betting range in these spots. Came here from your Mechanics of Poker pod with Rene and Adam which I really enjoyed. Cheers!
one thing i'm curious about is that you tag a player as fun when they cold call a 3bet (not necessarily in this vid). when i watch vids of high stakes players such as limitless, trueteller etc they all seem to do it. i guess its about constructing a cold calling range?
3:52 TT. RIVER BB's (REC) BETTING RANGE: (Value): 88 (1.5), 87s (0.5), 22 (0.6), A7s (1), 76s (1), 75 (0.4). (Bluff): JT (1), JTo (1.2), T9s (1), 65s (2), 64s (0.8). We have 52% equity. (If BB has a really wide range preflop, we still have enough equity to call, even if BB is more tight.)
That hand where you both had KJ and he bet just under pot on the turn - why was his turn sizing weird in your view? It’s a pretty polar spot, no? Did you expect check or B33? Cheers
yee had the same question, probably given how polar BB’s range is and how deep they are overbet is the only sizing that makes sense (?) cus Villian is telling he beats Kx + u get max value from draws. Would love to get an answer by the man himself tho
I like the way you play it's very similar to my thinking patterns but just more polished. I dabble in 200nl sometimes but mostly 100 and sometimes 50 if the games are good. Where would you recommend looking at charts for preflop ranges?
Love the vids Jarretman, thanks for providing the content. If you were trying to build up a BR would you be playing reg tables over zoom? Can reg tables be better profit/hr because they are softer even though you get more hands in zoom?
Hey Bruh, I think I know you from Niagara 5/10 game if your the same guy I don't remember you being as aggressive live? I watched your interview with Mechanics of Poker. I would love to transition to online like you have.
Hi there. Nice to see you again!. An honest quiestion: do you trust playing this site? I belive ofc you know what has happened here, right?. Just saying this for your on protection. I thank you a lot for your content!
Your logic is very sound, but you lack right brain thinking which doesn't make sense to the left brain. An example of right brain thinking in poker is possessing the belief or ability to channel cards in your favour. Your extreme amount of logical thought process destroys this ability. frankly, you don't even think it's possible to channel cards, that's how powerful your left brain is in analyzing poker over your right brain...
we miss you jarretman
hi Jarret! your videos are both entertaining and educational, i only wish they could either be longer or more frequent, In any case, thank you!
really enjoying the transition from seeing jarret battle tough 500z and 1knl regs to being constantly donked into by short stacks haha
Keep up the great Work, Jared!
The best part about this video is that Jarretman decided to google ''random number between 1 and 100'' instead of just RNG lol
I would love to see a 600 or 1k blitz video!
can't thank you enough for the videos. awesome as always
Just wanna say I really appreciated your content.
jarretman! where you been?!
can't believe no one is talking about that 88 fold on 732ss SRP BB vs EP for 75% pot 🥶😅
Yea I would have thought no way you should be folding there
Its hard for Weak Regs to understand this fold. 😉
@@신폴신 If you fold this hand on the flop you are overfolding. You call no hands on the flop lol?
@@DWill8PG That’s why you’re a fish

Hand at 13:13 you say you like trippling vs. the rec. Can you explain why and what things you look for when deciding to tripple off vs. recreationals?
no more loud slurping of the coffee :( you've changed, man
I am a Buffalo boy and big fan (of you). Great vid. I use the exact same strategy on 3 flush boards.
Home from a long day working at the hospital and I smiled when I saw this in my subs let's goooo
Very good and educational!

Well I guess his balls are no longer sweaty since you cleaned them with your tongue.

Whats the vpip and pfr of this session like 16/12 ? I need to be more nitty that is why I am not moving up so quick

Come back!!!!
how are you Jarretman?
Thanks!
Rare educational poker lessons!
How often do you play in this pool usually?
luv the vids jman. keep em coming. im switching from live to online in about 2 weeks. can u recommend which HUD I should use
Correct me if I’m wrong but are you tagging both regs and recreational yellow??
What do you think of the difficulty of the 200 acr pool Vs stars 200z?
In my opinion , acr has less recreational players but the regs are much worst that ps..in general acr blitz is softer
Where is Jman???
Love the vids Jarretman, thanks for providing the content.
If you were trying to build up a BR would you be playing reg tables over zoom? Can reg tables be better profit/hr because they are softer even though you get more hands in zoom?
I guess it also depends on how many tables you play, maybe 3 table zoom vs 6 reg? I'm not sure how many reg cash tables people usually play
Play regular tables, on PokerStars skill level is 25nl zoom=100nl reg tables. Table selection is important, fish playing even tight on zoom
If you look at the data you will see regs have a much higher wr when playing reg tables over fast fold
great thanks both
Alright Jarret, it's been too long. Please us plebs with another video please sir. Take care.
he was shot death 10 months ago
