As a self taught keyboard board I've been able to get around this opening on it, it's no where near good because I'm poor enough and can't afford any piano lol
This one is actually really easy to learn with practice, its not that complicated, it might take newcomers a few months, intermediate people around a month or 3 weeks, and proffesionals 1 to 2 weeks, this is an ammazing cover, and in reality what you need is speed, dont think much because you will go into panic, just commit to the piano and thats it
The jazz technique is top notch and energy is off the charts!! The running bass line is so clean and I can hear your jazzy touch has only gotten better over time! Some noteable moments for me -1:46 - you know i love those third hand RH bell tones -2:00 - the whole piece from this point onwards is just on another levels, so many slick and nice licks during the solo passage - 2:26 - really like the RH dual melodies here - 2:46 - the isolation of RH voices is perfectly balanced! - 3:00 - again, RH voicing is soo good as we bring in the final chorus, and while trying to maintain a soft volume. can't understand just how difficult it is to accomplish this level of finesse

YOOOOOOO when I fist made a playlist of anime music for myself years ago this was the first song I added! Love this arrangement, especially the second half! The left hand octaves at 2:26 are just so powerful and after that 2:46 sounds so cool, just lowkey bopping along! Also 2:58 sounds so pretty and serves as a perfect buildup to the powerful final part!

Absolutely masterful arrangement, and definitely worth the wait! Loved the solo - I can't imagine how tiring it must have been to practice this piece with how fast the guitar melody is. Looking forward to the return of seasonal Animenz next week! I'm sure it will be another banger :)

YOOOOOOO when I fist made a playlist of anime music for myself years ago this was the first song I added!
Love this arrangement, especially the second half! The left hand octaves at 2:26 are just so powerful and after that 2:46 sounds so cool, just lowkey bopping along! Also 2:58 sounds so pretty and serves as a perfect buildup to the powerful final part!
