This Poulan Pro rider is fairly new and has been used very little but has been used hard. A blade is bent, alignment is out and the deck is a little off. An afternoon working on the mower and it is ready for sale!

Now that you have it all fixed up and ready to mow it should be a good lawn tractor for a new customer. Good job. Thanks for the videos.

I have a old mower just like it and it’s been great but I’ve only used it 4/5 times because I use customer mowers to mow my yard
    There solid units 😊

WOW Ellis, I am truly amazed how clean that machine got, it sure has shinned up like a brand new machine, I am amazed. I also like the modern look of that steering wheel, its a nice basic machine, not electric PTO frills, but you really don't need it. I enjoyed seeing you beat the drag links into submission to assume their proper position lol. Thats a nice basic and common sense technique to leveling the deck as well. If it had electric PTO clutch, and hydrostatic drive, it could easily have gone for 500 dollars.

The fact that the steering wheel doesn't point straight after your alignment would drive me slowly insane... (Glad you re-aligned.)

If I remember right I paid 610 bucks for it during winter sale ❤
For most folks it’s all they need and service it regularly 😊

That's the name of the game.not having to spend money on parts unless you absolutely have too. You did a great job on that and good luck on the sale!!!

Great job casey getting that toe out issue fixed. I will probably do that with this one Husqvarna tractor I got in the backyard I think I might have to do the same thing to it so I don't have to buy the drag links

You can also try bending the drag links but I did not have good success last time I tried that.

Cut the non adjustable tie rod en off weld in a bolt and adjustable tie rod end. Total cost about 10$ and ya get compete adjustment anytime these cheap mowers go out of alignment

I have seen that done and will have to try that out sometime.

Awesome! I wish I’d seen this when I had my alignment issue. I looked all over youtube then and didn’t like any of the remedies so I just took a sledgehammer to both drag links, they were very hard to bend with my setup. The mower was toed way out, at least as bad as that one, I think because I let the bearings go bad and the wheels were wobbly. I only had to bend them enough so the ends were 1/4” closer together though but it wasn’t easy but made a huge difference. I’m doing it your way next time.

I've tried many ways, including bending the drag links which is nearly impossible, and this seems to be the best solution. Just don't know how the pivot joints on the drag links will hold up over time.

My Craftsman LT2000 has one drag link on left side and a connecting "tie rod??" between both steering spindles. When mine starts toeing out, it's usually the tie rod bent in an arc upward instead of being straight across as it should be. I just take it off and bend it back straight in my vise. Is mine an older design? It is a 2007 model. Enjoy your videos!

Yes that is an older design and much easier to fix the toe out. This design is two separate drag links. Nowhere near as good as the older design like you're talking about.
