Spent the afternoon at my log cabin making some small improvements and doing some chores. I also cooked some food for Lukey and me.
This is not a "How to build a log cabin" video. Its just me trying to fulfill my childhood dream of building a log cabin. I am not a carpenter, I am just doing the best I can with what I have. Thanks for watching and hopefully you subscribe for future log cabin videos.
A log cabin is a dwelling constructed of logs, especially a less finished or architecturally sophisticated structure. Log cabins have an ancient history in Europe, and in America are often associated with first generation home building by settlers.

The training starts as a pup, or more often trips, it will take time and patience.
Great times at the cabin.
Mia settled down very quick in the canoe, and as you've seen, she's just as content to sleep in the canoe than as if she was in bed lol but Rosie(beagle mix) whines the same way and also when we're in the car, but only on the highway. So long road trips and long canoe trips are a challenge. The guilt of leaving her home is what gets her in the boat! Lol
Curtains great addition to the camp, and I've been meaning to try frogs legs myself, keep the videos coming Troy!
Lukey doesn't like out on the water.......probably because no rabbit scent out there!

Great video Troy! Thanks for the updates. Barbour was having a few issues with his dog in the boat too. Especially when he was reeling in a fish. I think he eventually grew out of it. I hope Lukey will do the same.

If you could insulate the ceiling that would keep the cabin cooler as well. I like the comment below about using a pole like your flagpole for a curtain rod.
I like @codraven57's suggestion about raising the curtain "rod" rather than cutting the curtains. I also think that making a curtain rod out of a nice straight stick/branch (like your outdoor flagpole) would look great in your rustic cabin. Take Care, Troy. My husband and I love your videos.

I do like this area you are in and as always like the cabin. A good size and cosy as well. Lukey on the water - maybe it is the motion of the boat in the water and in the car on the road I would check it out with a friendly vet see what they think. As for the frogs legs troy nah looks like mini human torso.. to each his own. Cheers.

He is an open land dog. On the boat and in a closed vehicle he feels trapped. On the quad it is open air in his favorite place the woods.

Could you hang a loop from a rafter, around one of the ladder supports? If something goes wrong, the ladder can't swing down, and you can just brush it off, to use the ladder...
Lukey eats steak, you eat frog. That's love!
A vet might give him a calmative... something to make him rev down. After a few calm trips, he may get used to canoeing!
Raise your string or curtin rod Troy. It'll save you from cutting those nice curtins, and it'll look better.

My town is on some islands, but we have no squirels. It's around 25.000 inhabitants here, and most of us live around what we call the city. Is squirels a good thing, should i take 7-8 squirels and put on the ground here, and let them loose, or will it be a huge problem? I guess I newer do that, but for me squirels look nice, but I guess they can be a pain also?
Yes, they are basically a hairy tailed rat! They are good to eat but they are as destructive as a rat!

My dog does the same because they dont have proprioception and they feel unstable all the time. They feel like they will fall

You don’t need a curtain rod with all those tree branches you live around … 😂… Use one of them to keep the rustic cabin feel. Give your dog some CBD oil to calm him down about a half hour before you go out and a chew toy!!
