Yea i bought one also. for the price how can you complain? I think the one i have does what is is suppose to do. I am buying a second one for my wife's car to.
I bought one identical for similar price and decided to have a 32GB mini card also from China. The instructions took a little understanding but I got there in the end and the cam works just fine. For the price you couldn't do better considering you will not going for an Oscar award but simply a piece of mind if you do need some visual evidence of an event. Installing was straight forward and discreet. I am pleased with it that now I purchased another cam for the rear window. To be sure, to be sure.
I know it's not great quality footage but Tesco were selling these dash cams off at £5 each on the run up to Christmas and even if the footage is bad quality it might be enough to determine whos fault it was in the event of an accident. Also when you get out of your car after an accident and some Guy says "That was all your fault" just point him to the dash cam and let him know it's been recorded, I bet his next sentence will be "Can we settle this out of court?" Thanks for the video Ryaniwk
Actually it does good job for that price. If you chose continuous recording then the 1 sec delay would be eliminated using a fast 32 GB class 10 micro SD card (not a fake SD card) which can record for around 4 hours. Another problem I have is with people buying cheap gadgets and then complaining about the performance. You could use it a rear cam and buy a more expensive for the front.
I'm convinced that there are about 5 different versions of this camera. I got one for $15 USD & its different from yours in several ways. I've seen others that cost $30 USD & those come with a USB card reader. my biggest gripe was that the USB cable that came with mine had a very skinny wire & as a result, didn't work. luckily i had an old cable laying around that was compatible
I brought one of these recently. I would say it's good value for money. I have another much, more expensive, dash cam which is the one I use most of the time. It does not appear to add any functionality but it does look a lot nicer to use. (This might mean you can upgrade the cam's software. I haven't checked though.) If your not sure if you would need a dash cam and want to try one out without spending a lot then this one does the job well enough.
Good enough for me. I just bought it for €14,95 at the Action. I'm happy with it. I don't need an expensive 4K Dashcam. It would be worth more than my car, haha.
I bought this dash cam (or very similar) and spent so much time and effort trying to make sense of the hopeless printed instructions that I didn't get around to fitting it in the car in time. Guess what! A driver, stationary in a right turn lane didn't bother to check their mirrors or check their blind spot before crossing my lane to turn left. My car got bashed in the side. I made a non-fault insurance claim and am anxiously waiting to hear the outcome. Do not delay, don't let the same thing happen to you! There are a lot of drivers out there who haven't got a clue how about the rules of the road and how to drive safely. Please do not delay, don't let the same thing happen to you! Most of the cheap dash cams from China have similar features and controls so check out how they work on TH-cam if the instructions that come with yours are rubbish. I wish that I had spent more and got a better dash cam with proper instructions, I could have saved a lot of money in the long run.
Thanks for the comment!! I will do a cheap action camera review video pretty soon. Comparison with GoPro 4 include :) Any other suggestions are welcome!
I think your 170 degree lens needs an adjustment in the aspect ratio setting. You have it set to 1:1 which is a square crop like Instagram. Try 16:9 for a wider angle.
Great Video and information. I just received my "vehicle blackbox dvr", the identical dash cam in your vid, and while it is a cheap piece of crap, for $10 it's worth it. Thank you for changing the language to english. I would have never figured it out. Also, this cam probably cost 0.50 cents in materials to make, it is easily breakable. And, the cam operates of my phone recharge battery, so it's a neat bodycam too. Thanks again for the excellent and informative review.
Snagged one or a very similar one on Amazon for $7. with free shipping. The LED for night mode on mine is a white light LED, not infrared. It seems to work well with a class 4, 16G card I had laying around. The manual is practically worthless. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how the loop mode worked to no avail. The time counter counts to 3 minutes and restarts. I was trying to figure out how to make the camera save a video in the event something happened I wanted to capture. It never occurred to me that every 3 minute session would be saved. What's the point of the G sensor if every 3 minute session is saved anyway? I did notice that the left-most button triggered a circle/slash icon on the screen which was sort of described as a "lock". Perhaps this locks the file from being automatically deleted when the card is full?
For the price. The video is ok. The let down is the software. I have often not been able to read the recorded clips. Sometimes it just fills up the memory card and locks up and doesn’t record anymore. For the purpose of a dash cam. It’s worth spending a bit more for a bit more quality and reliability
That one second loss of footage is not good enough. I have had the CDR 820 dash-cam by Cobra for the past two years now and I can not tell you how many times I've had close-calls right at the end/start of a clip. This is a no-buy for me. Thank you for the informative video, though!
chadergeist82 Everybody knows that. It's called a joke. Also keep in mind it isn't just the US where we drive on the right side of the road. Also all of Europe except UK and Ireland, almost all of Asia and so on.
i got mine today, different to yours and different to manual, but thankyou you have shown me how to use it. im disappointed its not in 1080 but will make do. as you say get what you pay for
So it's worth noting that I bought this across the pond in the USA after buying a new car 7.5 hours from home, and needing a dashcam for the ride. This was on August 8, 2022. It was sold at a gas station for $30 USD. It is not worth that. It isn't worth the $18 you paid. You nailed all of the issues with the camera. It auto turned off one time. The first time I used it. And it turned off...not the screen, but the entire unit! I had to manually turn it back on to restart recording. Lastly, the only other thing you missed, was that I cannot get either G-shock to auto-save videos, and the motion sensor that you left off. If you turn it on and save it...it turns RIGHT BACK OFF. There is no way to turn on and keep on motion sensing (not like it would work anyway, see previous sentence about G-shock not working. Fairly certain it doesn't have it.) Thanks for the review!
literally hour ago bought this same camera, mine says CT TEK Car Dash Cam HD Portable DVR with 2.4” TFT LCD Screen and was $39.99 but on sale after left over Xmas stuff at a gas station (U.S.A.) and paid $22.49. anyways, other than it has CT TEK™ printed on top right face of cam, it's exactly the same dash cam 😁 thanks for the video review. I bought this as a 2nd dash cam for my back windshield to video rear view when driving. I think at best it is only good for that, especially since I think theres no way to zoom in n out 😐 and the "1080p" quality is so great it's meant for a 'rear viewing' dash cam. I subscribed also and look forward to other video reviews, thanks again!❕😁
im borowing this computer its not mine i usually hate enterin passwords in other peoples computers, but i did connect just to hit the like button and tell you thank you for your effort, because i saw some negative comments below .... cheers from morocco
This was the only video that actually showed the same camera as mine, i.e. without the two silver buttons which are in the "users manual" and it actually demonstrates no need to panic and "save" recording should there be an incident. Nice to see cars on the left hand side of the road as well. Music a bit cheesy, but who cares!
I just received my unit and it also did not have the side buttons. Should I be returning the unit or can everything be controlled by the existing frontal buttons? Haven't figured out on/off and when recording but this video will help. thank you
Can it be used without the car battery plugged in and if so, for how long . I presume it has a built in battery. What type of SD card does it take ? I guess it overwrites once the card is full ?
Hi Taki. You can use the camera without the plug but it wont last long. I'd say maybe 10 to 15 min. I had problems with the micro SD card. Try use a good quality one, 32gb tops. The files will be overwritten when the cards full.
Hey Ryaniwk, I have the exact same camera but I have an issue where during the day my videos are blown out/over-exposed and at night they are too dark. I've noticed at night they display the Sun symbol seen at 2:20 in your video and during the day they have the Moon symbol. I've tried changing the time on my dash cam to different hours to see if that would fix it but no success. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, great review!
Hi. Thanks for the feedback! The only way I found to change to night mode is to press the very right button when in record mode. It wont make to much difference. It just a small IR that only works at a very close distance. The night quality footage is really poor.
When I plug my power cable into the unit, I get a brief second of camera-view on the screen and then it defaults to a generic, cartoon drawing of the apparatus. When I take the cable out I get a few seconds of camera-view again before it shuts off ( because the power lead has been disconnected. Why can't I keep the camera view on my screen????!?!!!
Awesome video review in a short amount of time. Like the fact that your review included some important things; 1.) how to change menu to ENGLISH, 2.) it's not 1080p, 3.) view is probably short of 170 degrees, and 4.) the dropped second of recording. The only question I have is there a restriction on size of SD card it can use? Otherwise Great Video review. Thanks.
+Mark Flosi Hey Mark! Thank you very much for your extensive and nice comment! :) I really appreciate that!! I believe you can use up to 32gb SD cards. To be honest I just tested one SD card with 32gb. Last time I checked some files were corrupted. I will format the card and test it again.
Yeah I got scammed on aliexpress with this fake camera. They sell it as a novatech chip with hdmi and 1080p. What comes is a generalplus chip that records in 640p in reality, no hdmi and horrible menus.
i got same generalplus chip but with different models, the lens looks like little blurry but i can fix it with manual focus and open the inside of the camera
Not bad for $13 it could serve as a temporary set up until you can afford a much more advanced one so at least in the meanwhile you have something to protect yourself in case of an accident
I've tested it yesterday. With motion detection on, if the camera detects some movement it start recording for 10 seconds. It doesn't stop recording If the something keep moving in front of it. It will be nice if the screen could be turned off :/ and you will need continuous power for this...
Ryaniwk can you please make a quick video on the settings to make the motion detection work? I have the k6000 cheap dash cam, but it's the same menu system as yours, mine doesn't work :(
I had one in red and paid £13 for it. The battery drained very quickly and it wouldnt keep the time and date it kept resetting itself, so put it the road and stamped on it with my size 12 feet. It took a while to smash, quite durable, thats the only positive about it.
Thanks, Ryaniwk, very helpful. I bought what appears to be a similar unit from Morrisons, £18, 720 res. If it doesn't suit for frontal quality may put in it back and get a better unit for front.
Bought one yesterday but i bring it back. I was already having troubles with instalating this thing ! I can go to the menu, but the arrow buttons don't respont. So can't set up the date or other things. Cost me 29,- euro's by a Dutch shop called Gamma.
I'm the same as other users. I ended up with the one in the video and not the one pictured on the instructions. not the best quality at all, but for a quick budget one it's slightly ok. it's a good way to see if you like the dash cam phase or not without breaking the bank. mine didn't come with a USB cable though. and the battery doesn't charge. it's fine while it's plugged in to the car though. the memory card doesn't pick up sometimes and for some reason it only records 1 minute at a time even though I've set it to 10. also it does not work at night time. even with full beams I struggled to watch back and see.
I bought this camera and really liked the video. The only thing I wish you had done is show me what buttons your pushing to get to all of the menu's. My instructions were really bad. I guess I am not the sharpest pencil in the box but took me 20 minutes to get it to English. Need help with he menu.
Hello, my Full HD car DVR 1080p model 36751/2578538 turns off after ± 2.50 minutes, but the blue light keeps flickering but the screen turns black. How does the screen always stay on? Greetings Tony
got one of these "free" with €1 postage, after using it for 2 days pure shyte tbh. where to start? terrible field of view, night vision is shocking, time/date stamp resets to 00:00 every time I turn on car ignition! seemed to be recording 3 minute segments but unable to view any recordings, if i try on the camera it freezes up on the "mode" screen. Connect to mac- folder full of .avi files, try to view any of the files using VLC and all are unreadable with times of 0:00. waste of €1 :(
I got mine few days ago: 1. battery arrived dead, does not charge, lasts few seconds after hours of charge 2. sometimes unit refuses to start, I have to wait few hours while being disconnected and then restarts (wtf?!) 3. In 1080p and 720p recording does not work: it creates one first good file and the other ones are "damaged files" or only sound files 4. In VGA mode seems to work, but VGA is useless you do not see plates for instance 4bis. Nope, today made 1 hour trip, camera set on VGA, result: all files damaged :-D 5. USB plug is weak, huge endshakes, plug keeps exiting out alone with car vibrations 6. like yours, my Cam does not have the side buttons, it is started with the central "ok" button (when it wants to start) Loss of money (not much luckily) and loss of time trying to make it work :-)
the sd card is for 30$ and it don't included ...SD for 20$ plus the camera 10$ that 30$ ..if you spend 40$ ..you are going to buy a decent dashcam ..this dashcam doesn't show the car numbers..it's look like it's from 1980s
@@ronaldcatalano4178 haha no doubt. The buttons don’t even say shit and the night vision is TEEEEEEERRIBLE… that being said for thirteen dollars… it’s not too bad
I have the same camera, but i don't know if it came with an SD card. On the screen in the upper left corner there's a silver and green thing. Is that the SD card? Could you please show how to set it up better please? What size SD Card do i need? Help please! Where do i put the SD Card? Please help!
I just purchased 2 dash cams (Dynergy) but very similar in spec as yours and was hoping to see some tips on how to install it, particularly about the wires. Also I got only 8GB memory cards, assuming sufficient to support my 10 minutes recording loop, what capacity memory card have you installed? The quality of your video sample was satisfactory considering to the cost of the camera (mine was slightly more, even with the double purchase). Thanks
13.00? And I just paid 60.00 for it an 20. for the 64G card. The instructions had english words but reading it was like a toddler talking to me and I couldnt understand a word of it. Also the image where it shows you what is where by the numbers were so very wrong. Still trying to learn the whole thing
I have the same camera but with Loop setting at 5 minutes but all files are recorded and saved as Locked so it will not loop to write over oldest files (any files) How do I change the camera setting so recorded files are not locked automatically. thank-you
Mine arrived yesterday, the USB lead and the SD card are missing, so I called the seller and he said he'll send me a USB lead, but the SD card isn't included. I've had a similar cheapo unit in our main car for a few years and it does the job.
Thanks for a great video. Very informative, but short and to the point. It's a thumbs up from me. The camera looks compact & well designed, I was thinking of getting one for £8.78 (no SD card) on ebay, for my rear windscreen. But the video quality looks so crap I suspect it's a rip-off copy of one with a better lens etc.. This one would probably do the job in case of a rear shunt but it's not for me. Do you have the video chip and/or processor number? That's often a give away.
I wonder if mine is broken or whats going on with it. Menu and the keys to browse menu work. But how do I enter the selection. If i press ok button nothing happens..
Do they have a built in rechargeable battery because soon as I take the charger out it switches off only works when you keep the it plugged in, which I find odd I notice at 2:10 it happened with yours
i buy 1 of these for 20myr, its about 4 dollar.well we really get what we paid for.at least its recording and the looping mode is functioning.better to have something than loosing everything hahahha......anyway thanks for the video.keep it up bro
Hey great vid & I also like the music. I bought 2 of these off ebay for $10. each, been using one of them for a couple of days now Good cheap protection I also have the one without the side buttons still figuring out the best set up for me your Vid is very helpful. One thing is the Night vision ?? used it last night (the camera Not night vision does it even have that?) for first time WOW awful is to kind BUT what about that LED on the front?? is there anyway to turn that on??? I'm not sure if it would make it better or worse you know reflect off the windshield & make it wash out. Anyway if anybody reading this has figured out how to turn on that LED Please post also what exposure? flash on off ? etc. Thanks
I bought it. I don't like it. Bad quality, and it´s not a 170º's camera... I don´t know why, but it seems that the camera has made a "zoom in"... and I can´t remove it... 😩 Any suggestions?
I got a different model but the internals are the same. So it shoots very (the same) video quality. If you play the videos back with vlc media player , under filters, you can improve the sharpness and saturation a lot. Its my first "look" at a dashcam, i paid $15 AU. I looked better at footage on youtube (real 1080p) and in some cases its still hard to read number plates.Mine has movement detection, cool thing to have when parked.
Really great video (except for the repeating music lol). I purchased this dashcam, as I don't need anything fancy, but I can't figure out a couple of things. 1. it's supposed to have a night mode, and I can see the infrared led on the front, but I can't figure out how that is activated. I switch the lights off, but the screen still shows a sunlight icon (I'm guessing that means day mode?) 2. it's supposed to come with a G-sensor that automatically locks the current file in the event of a sudden acceleration change, but I can't find a setting for that anywhere. Do you know if the feature exists?
+Nate Woodward Thanks for the support, Nate! :) In my opinion this camera is a fake version of the ‘original’ one with the novatek chip. Nothing is the same. If you look closer not even the manual belongs to this camera. Buttons are missing, etc. 1. I don’t think night mode works. That infrared should be fake 2. Again, the G sensor should only be available for the ‘original’ one. I may try to open this dash cam to check the components inside. If so I will make a video of it :)
Ryaniwk thanks, I figured it was a knockoff, but that doesn't bother me. For $13, I'm happy that it works fine, it loop records, starts recording automatically, has a mic and speaker, etc. I would be somewhat disappointed if night mode is not present though.
+Nate Woodward Hi Nate. Good news! Night mode is there! I’ve tested at home in a dark room. The infra red does it job, at least in a short distance. I’ll do a short night drive video and I’ll post it here ;)
+Ryaniwk thanks. Are you sure that's an actual night mode? Did the sun icon change? Normally infrared-illuminated night mode would be black and white, but the video looks like it's in color.
Thats the thing! When I bought mine from ebay the seller described it as it was a HD 1080p, more buttons, etc. The description was all wrong! What I recommend is before you committed to buy this ask the seller about the chipset and video file type.
As previously commented upon, you get what you pay for. For the price of a round of drinks, its not 'bad' it's just for additional outlay; maybe 6 or 7 x the price, then better video is available. The CRITICAL thing is not to use a low capacity card, which I did in another brand of dash cam. When I reviewed some footage of a near miss later, it had been overwritten. I unplugged the power lead but the internal battery enabled the camera to continue (which I didn't notice) so any evidence, should it be needed, was lost. Of course this would not apply if the device stopped recording when unplugged.
Just paid US$ 0,20 for this cam on Ali Express, have the same "problem" no button for on/off and things like that, but for that price, it really doesn't matter.
Just got one of these for £10..I can't figure out how to save a video clip...as none are in the playback menu...I'm thinking it's the card...I fomated it...but it's only a class 4 16gb...does that sound likely to be the problem??
Yes, it could be a faulty card. Try a original (good) card, also do a reset on the camera. If the problem remains you have a faulty camera, unfortunately.
I was looking for a 32GB micro SD card and happened up on this and noticed it came with such a card. So I got 2 for 1 ! The battery >if it has one< will not charge. It's working as described otherwise, though. No worries... I have a drive test video on my channel if you care to look.
Works very well. I’ve had mine for 2 years. Still working fine.
That video recording is honestly not bad for $13, the quality is good enough to show what happened in an accident. thanks for reviewing it!!
Thanks for the feedback!
The Finder, The same! ;-)
Yea i bought one also. for the price how can you complain? I think the one i have does what is is suppose to do. I am buying a second one for my wife's car to.
For $13 camera it has no way not to be bad, so it's bad => the quality is bad enough :)
I bought 2 and both of them just didn’t work

Thanks for making this vid. I received the same product from a friend. I will now pass this problem along to another friend before wasting my time.
Does the mic automatically turn on once it starts recording ? I have a symbol on the screen indicating that the mic is off. 🤯

What is the reason of the music?
Sounds arranged in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.

TEK™ printed on top right face of cam, it's exactly the same dash cam 😁 thanks for the video review.

Thanks for the video, some of these cameras will drain the battery if left plugged in without starting the car for couple days.
im borowing this computer its not mine i usually hate enterin passwords in other peoples computers, but i did connect just to hit the like button and tell you thank you for your effort, because i saw some negative comments below .... cheers from morocco
Thank you very for you nice comment. I really appreciate it!
Great review thanks for taking the time 👍
Thanks :)
Thanks for the feedback Alex
Ryaniwk
thank you for video :)
mine didnt come with Card. it say TF card but regular micro SD card work !?
Ordering it right now. Thx for the review
That Hawaiian guitar... well it sure sounds like one.... yasss oh but great video, thx
Is this Brum ? The very last bit at the junction looks like a road i know in Birmingham.
+disco2 yes, it was shot in Birmingham :)
Thought so i drive a van around Birmingham and need to get a dash cam with all the idiot around that area.
You got a bargain! I have just paid £30 on Amazon for a LANKA dashcam which is identical to yours!!
I installed nextbase fhd cam at front, I will use this cam for rear & side view capture.
@@Ryaniwk Where do you put the SD Card?
Night driving it’s crap, no night mode . Day recording to be tested .... can you do playback on it?
I have noticed if you take a photo it freezes lol
Thank you so much. My first time with a car camera. Think I'll go with something a bit better.
Can the loop recording be turned off? In a bad accident the driver may be knocked out and unable to stop the camera and the vital footage writen over
Battery lasts for about 10 seconds when fully charged. Bye bye motion detection mode!
There is no battery. A Capacitor stores just enough current to write the current recording session to memory - then it turns off
🤣🤣🤣
Not bad for $13 it could serve as a temporary set up until you can afford a much more advanced one so at least in the meanwhile you have something to protect yourself in case of an accident
How does the motion detection work for this dash cam? Please reply
I've tested it yesterday. With motion detection on, if the camera detects some movement it start recording for 10 seconds. It doesn't stop recording If the something keep moving in front of it.
It will be nice if the screen could be turned off :/ and you will need continuous power for this...
Thank you very much sir!!! This is the only reason I need one of these, just to baby sit my car while parked. I can hardwire easy. Thank you again
Ryaniwk can you please make a quick video on the settings to make the motion detection work? I have the k6000 cheap dash cam, but it's the same menu system as yours, mine doesn't work :(
Not a problem. I’ll do a quick video
Ryaniwk thanks man, I figured it out, I posted a video of it. Than anyways man I appreciate it
Hi! Thanks!
Pleasse ...How setings time? I dont... old time :(
I had one in red and paid £13 for it. The battery drained very quickly and it wouldnt keep the time and date it kept resetting itself, so put it the road and stamped on it with my size 12 feet. It took a while to smash, quite durable, thats the only positive about it.
🤣
Thanks for taking the time with this short clip. Very, very helpful. The instructions that came with it is garbage.
A very creative recording, providing everything I need to find out about this camera! Thank you! 👍
So, I'm now your nr. 3,076 subscribers 😊
Thanks for the support, Mark!
Terrific review, like the way you let us decide based on the images.
+Fred Bryan Thanks Fred! Have you tried push Menu twice to jump to different settings?
Great presentation. Very informative. Subscribed. Thanks
Thanks a lot the positive feedback!!
Great I got one of these to mess with ,fine for the money, I then went on to get a bigger one with rear cam for £27
My friend got one, the lens view is only 90 degree, and the resolution is just like VGA though he has set to what they say 1080.
Hello, my Full HD car DVR 1080p model 36751/2578538 turns off after ± 2.50 minutes, but the blue light keeps flickering but the screen turns black. How does the screen always stay on? Greetings Tony
Thank you! You solved my problem "Howto switch off the screen of this cam?" (No Way; only with metallized tape.)
The camera vision is blurry, What advise can you give to fix this?
Camera is crappy the menus buttons aren’t responding when I press them! 😡
how to set time and date my menu doesnt work. When i plugged in its only recording
got one of these "free" with €1 postage, after using it for 2 days pure shyte tbh. where to start? terrible field of view, night vision is shocking, time/date stamp resets to 00:00 every time I turn on car ignition! seemed to be recording 3 minute segments but unable to view any recordings, if i try on the camera it freezes up on the "mode" screen. Connect to mac- folder full of .avi files, try to view any of the files using VLC and all are unreadable with times of 0:00. waste of €1 :(
I got mine few days ago:
1. battery arrived dead, does not charge, lasts few seconds after hours of charge
2. sometimes unit refuses to start, I have to wait few hours while being disconnected and then restarts (wtf?!)
3. In 1080p and 720p recording does not work: it creates one first good file and the other ones are "damaged files" or only sound files
4. In VGA mode seems to work, but VGA is useless you do not see plates for instance
4bis. Nope, today made 1 hour trip, camera set on VGA, result: all files damaged :-D
5. USB plug is weak, huge endshakes, plug keeps exiting out alone with car vibrations
6. like yours, my Cam does not have the side buttons, it is started with the central "ok" button (when it wants to start)
Loss of money (not much luckily) and loss of time trying to make it work :-)
I had similar problems with damaged files. I swap the SD card for a proper one (much more expensive) and no more damaged/corrupted files :)
the sd card is for 30$ and it don't included ...SD for 20$ plus the camera 10$ that 30$ ..if you spend 40$ ..you are going to buy a decent dashcam ..this dashcam doesn't show the car numbers..it's look like it's from 1980s
It doesn't have a battery, so it needs to be always plugged in.
It would work as evidence in a car crash. Looks good for $12
I searched cheap dashcam setup and this came up …. Luckily it’s the exact camera I bought lol
Same one I bought, but they don't explane anything. Looks like we are back in the silent movie era.
Micro sd get a security one, good against lasting in heat
Im trying to catch the button sequence after 2:34 as how to change back to English. any help most appreciated

How does it work, keep pressing buttons but not sure how to record and stop and playback?
I just purchased 2 dash cams (Dynergy) but very similar in spec as yours and was hoping to see some tips on how to install it, particularly about the wires. Also I got only 8GB memory cards, assuming sufficient to support my 10 minutes recording loop, what capacity memory card have you installed? The quality of your video sample was satisfactory considering to the cost of the camera (mine was slightly more, even with the double purchase). Thanks
I have this camera but the buttons just stopped working, any suggestions?
Lol! I just bought this dash cam even though I knew the quality gonna be a little bit bad compare to the expensive dash cam.
+Clive Grant thanks!! I don't have any info on the chip or processor. I can try to open it!! Sound like good fun to me :)
Thanks again Clive
Have a look at this Clive > th-cam.com/video/Kv9-yKPlKvA/w-d-xo.html
I wonder if mine is broken or whats going on with it. Menu and the keys to browse menu work. But how do I enter the selection. If i press ok button nothing happens..
does it need to be plugged in to work ? or its rechargable
Do they have a built in rechargeable battery because soon as I take the charger out it switches off only works when you keep the it plugged in, which I find odd I notice at 2:10 it happened with yours
Mine does the same, but it says fully charged.
i buy 1 of these for 20myr, its about 4 dollar.well we really get what we paid for.at least its recording and the looping mode is functioning.better to have something than loosing everything hahahha......anyway thanks for the video.keep it up bro
Thanks bro!
I got the same, but can't turn it from Chinese to English. Can you please let me know how to do it?
+Vlad K check my other video Vlad th-cam.com/video/HX--EG1j2Lc/w-d-xo.html
Hey great vid & I also like the music. I bought 2 of these off ebay for $10. each, been using one of them for a couple of days now Good cheap protection I also have the one without the side buttons still figuring out the best set up for me your Vid is very helpful. One thing is the Night vision ?? used it last night (the camera Not night vision does it even have that?) for first time WOW awful is to kind BUT what about that LED on the front?? is there anyway to turn that on??? I'm not sure if it would make it better or worse you know reflect off the windshield & make it wash out. Anyway if anybody reading this has figured out how to turn on that LED Please post also what exposure? flash on off ? etc. Thanks
for the price...you cant beat it. Security and safety at any level is still safety and security.
You can have 3, 5 or 10 minutes of recording. And it is also possible to record in 1080p.
thanks for the English menu setting at @2:43
Hi there, I just got one and how does that little bulb outside work?
Hi. .I have identical cam...but my screen goes off after a few minutes..??
No idea if it's still recording. .how can I fix this..cheers.
Remove it from the car, rap up the cord , and toss it in the trash and get a new one .
In my opinion this camera is a fake version of the ‘original’ one with the novatek chip. Nothing is the same. If you look closer not even the manual belongs to this camera. Buttons are missing, etc.
1. I don’t think night mode works. That infrared should be fake
I’ll do a short night drive video and I’ll post it here ;)
+Nate Woodward Hi Nate. Night video is up now. You will not be happy :( th-cam.com/video/HGmK_4BPP_A/w-d-xo.html
+Ryaniwk thanks. Are you sure that's an actual night mode? Did the sun icon change? Normally infrared-illuminated night mode would be black and white, but the video looks like it's in color.
Thanks for review man. Honestly for $10bucks this isnt that bad. I just hope what ever they say in ad on ebay. its not lies or b.s
Is there a button to instantly lock the clip you don't want to be deleted automatically? Or you have to do it from the menu?
I have a drive test video on my channel if you care to look.
hey....I liked the background music.... the video too...
+Altaf Vhora Thanks for the positive feedback!! :)
