Loved this! I’m 40 + 1 today (longest i’ve ever been pregnant) with baby number 3. I so needed that encouragement that God has this baby’s birthday written down already and that it’s in His hands when this baby gets here.
I was 41 weeks and 6 days late with my first born, but I remember how hard waiting was, praying for a healthy, happy baby❤

I just had my second son (first homebirth) this past Saturday and our births sound so similar. I knew homebirth would be special, but gosh I had no clue it would be so beautiful and peaceful and full of God’s so present touch on all the details. Congratulations on your beautiful girl! 🥰

Congratulations!!! This feels like divine intervention because I found your channel when we found out we'd likely be fostering a newborn once she was born. That was early March.... she's here with us and her name is Rosie. When you said your baby's name was Rosie today, I nearly fell over. You have been such an encouragement to me. God is so good!

Exactly what I needed to hear going into my third labor. I am due August 21st and I am very nervous. I have all natural hospital births with all my contractions being in my back because I have scoliosis. Labor has always been something that is miserable for me but I want to have an empowering birth story like I see so many women having. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

I think you should still post what you have footage wise. I know when I was pregnant with my first and now thinking about a second I found and still find the other stages so interesting and encouraging.
This is beautiful! My due date was a week and a half ago so this was refreshing and encouraging to watch. Leaving things in God’s hands and timing can be difficult so it was uplifting to hear your story.

34 weeks! Due on July 3, but signs are pointing to this sweet baby coming early. Lots of Braxton hicks, belly dropped low, baby is definitely engaged (lightning crotch galore), and I just have this feeling that we’ll be meeting this our firstborn earlier than expected. Would love your prayers - praying to make it to 37 ❤️

Congratulations!! I have a Rosie too 😊 Currently I'm 38 weeks pregnant with a baby boy, and seriously considering changing from a clinic birth to a home birth. My discussion with my OB left me with a bad feeling that our childbirth philosophies did not align, especially her trying to convince me that episiotomies are better and safer than natural tearing! 😮 So I'm just waiting on an ultrasound to make sure my placenta is healthy, then I'll probably meet with a midwife to arrange a HVAC

My second baby girl is due the 12th of July and it was such a good reminder when you said that God is so in control, with the timing and how the birth goes.
I would love to still see the footage that you did manage to capture in terms of seeing what you did to cope with contractions and things like that. I'm also hoping for an unmedicated natural birth and am soaking in all that I can that might help.

Congratulations on the beautiful baby girl. I remember watching the birth story for your son and being so inspired by it with my first baby. I am currently pregnant with baby number 2. I am due November 12th. I am very nervous as I had a unplanned c section with my first baby. I felt so defeated since the birth didn't go the way that I wanted it to, but God knew what he was doing. I am hoping amd praying to have a natural birth with this baby.

Congratulations Beth!! Rosalie is absolutely perfect.❤ I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and am due October 1st! I decided that I’m not finding out the gender until birth this time. My first is a boy and he is 16 months. I thought I wanted this baby to be another boy but after seeing your sweet girl all wrapped up in her precious Muslin blanket and bow, I’m not sure anymore.😅

I loved your story! I would think squat pushes is a more normal and more comfortable feeling than pushing on your back. I feel like they push up your legs way high as if you are sitting that way anyway. I was on my back for all three of mine. My last one fell out in between pushes haha. I love that you are able to do home births! What a blessing. She looks beautiful. I felt with my first birth that the placenta birth hurt more and that baby was ten pounds. Wish I recorded birthing my two oldest but I did record for my little one who is about to turn one in a few weeks! Feel free to watch that birth story if you ever want to. Thanks again so much for sharing your story. It is great how you can turn babies during birth without issue when so many in non-home births are pretty much forced to do c-sections. Not sure your take on that though.

I’m happy to see this went lovely for you. Your sweet baby girl is precious. I love the name you chose for her. Also yes to the birth vlog - it’s okay that it doesn’t have the “climactic moment”. Although you didn’t intend for it to be this way, that’s now a special private memory for only you, your husband, and baby to share now. 💕 Instead of having that portion of the video, I think it would be sweet to use music as the climax. You could even have music building and then have the screen go black/say her birthdate and name and have a recording of her crying (to mimic that fresh baby cry that she had when she was first born) then transition to close up videos of your sweet girl. Just an idea 🥰

I'm due with my second girl at 24.05., I feel so much pain, had the same experience as you with false labour, yesterday I got checked and I'm 4-5cm dilated and I'm feeling discouraged cuz nothing is happening. Currently 40 weeks + 5 days and still only a 1 cm 😭 so ready to get my baby boy out. It's been hard and discouraging. And there are people who have been warning me to not go too far over because of the dangers of that. But also I somewhat don't want to be induced because of the dangers of that too, but at the same time whatever is healthiest for baby boy.
They currently have no openings this week at the hospital for inductions and I knew that last week and decided to wait because I could have gone this past Friday for an induction. But I was confident that he would be here by now.
It's been hard, wondering if I did the right thing or not. But God is good 🙌 and he's got this in control 🩵 He blessed us with this baby and He's got it, when and how this boy comes out. My husband prayed over me and reminded me when I drove back from the appointment today because I was so down.

I’m 41 weeks and 3 days today. I was considering taking the midwives brew in 2 days if babies not here. I’m suppose to give birth at the birthing center. I’m not allowed to go over 2 weeks past my due date, otherwise I’ll have to give birth at the hospital and get medically induced there. 😕 Your birth story really encouraged me to trust God and surrender to Him. Not to take matters into my own hands. (Which is much easier said than done) God bless you, sister. Such an amazing story. Such a beautiful little angel you’ve got in your arms there. Congratulations 🤗 Rosalee/Rosalie/Rosaly (not sure how you've spelt it) is such a lovely name... it's actually on my list of baby names and I've always felt it was a more uncommon name, especially since I don't know of anyone with the name, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear it!

Happy birthday, Rosie! She's sharing the same birthday as me (I was born at 6.13pm though - we always joke that I was right on time for the kid's show on TV that would start at 6.15pm when I was little).
My little one is due on July 23rd so I still have a little more time to go. I can't wait for her to get here though. Feels so close, yet so far away.
