      Personally would’ve broken off and retied and retrieved after fishing that last hole, especially w/such a low branch. So much (enjoyable) work to find the holes after all! But I think we’ve all been determined to retrieve our mistake, maybe it comes with the personality of fly fishermen 🧐. Tight lines.

    You may know this by now but putting you rod/line in the water for a few seconds will melt the ice right off! Love the vids

    tie your own flies? Pinch the barbs when you put it in the vise. IMHO no one who cares about the resource would enter a stream corridor with a barbed hook, JMHO.
