Language EarthQuaker Sessions "Cut Teeth"

The Revenge Of EarthQuaker Day is coming up fast on Saturday, Aug. 6, at EQD headquarters in Akron. To give you a taste of the good times and great music to be experienced, here's a one-song session from Cleveland trio Language performing at EarthQuaker Day's Eve at Musica in downtown Akron on Friday, Aug. 5.
The trio runs through the groovin' tune "Cut Teeth," bassist Austin Kaufman laying down a head-nodding, low-end throb fuzzed up by the Hoof as he trades vocals with guitarist Jordan King and drummer Maureen Joyce holds down a steady pulse. Then the tune's tempo gears shift into overdrive, and the loping groove kicks into a kinetic dance-inducing beat with Jordan wigging out on his Wah pedal with assistance from the Erupter. Rock on!
